Can confirm, John is an excellent human being and a great ambassador of the hobby. Was fortunate enough to attend the meetup that he and Beth run when I lived in Chicago, and it was the platonic ideal of gaming events that I've been searching for ever since. I always smile when I pull Beth's tile in Roll. :D

Thank you for the explanation of Spectacular, Sunniva! It was funny to know you also saw it as a mix of CoB and Cascadia. I've been there explaining games at Spiel some years ago and I can relate to the energy dips. It is exhausting and I just hope I was a good "customer".
