I love this crackling polish so much! :) and like you it made me so nostalgic lol. It looks absolutely fantastic over red. I hope they bring out more colours like the gold they had in the past! i wonder if next we will see nail piercings make a return 😄

I haven’t tried the current day ones (Holo Taco is here waiting for me to try), but with the older formulas I found that blowing on them helped make the crackle a bit more uniform with the tiny cracks. You can almost decide which areas you want to crack more if you blow on them.

Beautiful! I have this from the brand Layla, the black one is gorgeous on every colour, the white one only on cool ones, if you use it on pink or similar it looks like your nail is cracked and the flesh is showing 🤣🤣🤣

Yes exactly! Also applying it across the nail instead of down the length of the nail also gives a different cracking direction and effect just like dry brushing 😊

When stored properly nailpolish can last over 10 years minimum 😊

What Femketje said, I have polishes from more than a decade ago that work just fine. If they get too thick then you just need a good nail polish thinner, I prefer pure ethyl acetate but if you can get a thinner from the same brand as the polish you want to thin then that is best. I just have a lot of random polishes from tiny or defunkt brands.

They don't expire. I have polishes that are over 20 years old that apply fine. If they're dried out, thinner revives them.

Crackle has lost its appeal to me since the first time around. Maybe because i know the dry brush method looks super similar and is free and easy? Tfs!

This polish is a bit faster than a dry brush technique, but when doing the latter you do have more colour options 🤭
