Matte lipsticks don't work for me, although they look nice for the first few minutes. They always dry my lips out sooo much! 🥺🥺

First I applied the lipstick with the applicator, but it applied way to much product and it was patchy and very heavy.So I tried to apply a very little amount and then tap it on with my finger, and now it's fabulous :D ( shade 01 Hello Sunrise!) ;)

I tried these products and were dissapointed. Its drying and barely lasts. I switched to Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink and it actually takes makeup remove to remove the lipstick. Plus my lips do not lose moisture with it. Its more expensive but worth it! I bought a few shades and I mix them too.

I really like the look of the color 05-Date Proof, as I'm gravitating towards cooler-toned mauves a lot lately, & it is such a beautiful universal shade. It's a shame that many of the colors seem to crack & fade so easily, & that the formula isn't consistent within the line regarding how certain shades emphasize lines & dryness. Even though it's obvious that this formula is not as good as the other prior release, it would be interesting to see how they compare color-wise. Thanks for the review. I would like to see a battle between the Colour Proof liquid lipstick and the 8hr Matte lipsticks, even though I have decided that liquid lipsticks are too drying for me. I definitely prefer lip-glosses and creamy lipsticks.

Use a lot of lipbalm before aplying it 😊 then it looks great ❤ I have shades 1, 2, 3 and 8 and that's the only way they work on my lips 😂

it looks like the same problem to most liquid matte products , many use lip brush to apply thin layer instead of using the applicator would fade better and not cracking?

They are pretty bad, unfortunately, I bought numbers 1 and 5. They don’t stay homogeneous while still liquid and become unpleasantly dry and sandy after dry. The feeling I get is “don’t you dare licking your lips”. I don’t recommend them. Invest some more bucks on a Maybelline Superstay Matte ink. No comparison.

I had some issues as well and you're right, once the formula touches water or something liquid, it is loosing pigmentation! The Maybelline superstay is very dry on my lips! I'm gonna try some tricks to make it work on me!
