I'm a student and I have gotten myself into the habit of carrying my cables with me, so this video is very useful! You never know when you will be able to pop down and have some study time.

Nice video! I carry a 6 ft retractable cable that has usb a, c, micro and lightening all in one. Of course, only one is active at a time. Plus a couple blank usb drives😊

Might as well carry a coax with you! I refuse to buy any device that doesn't use USB-C at this point. I stopped carrying an ethernet cable around 2018 because I hadn't used it since 2016 and I really can't think of a single time when I was disappointed about it. I carry a 6ft 100watt USB-C, a backup 6in USB-C, and an external battery. I can charge my laptop, phone, iPad, headphones, battery etc., all with the same cord. If I need to plug my iPad or laptop into the external displays at school, I use Apple Airplay or a USB-C connection. The only electronic that I can't charge is my Ti84, that still uses mini USB

@@ktcottrell coax might be a bit much 😂 The Ethernet cable is surprisingly useful in an academic environment. I have students download some larger files for labs. The school wifi gets saturated and by using an Ethernet cable they are getting downloads that are MUCH faster. This, of course, depends on your own environment and use-case, but the cables for LAN and AV are critical to my own scenarios in teaching and studying.
