Bought a bottle of LA RIOJA ALTA S.A. RIOJA RESERVA ESPECIAL 'VIÑA ARDANZA' 2001 a couple of days ago. The Grand Reservas are 890 and 904, though the Especial is technically a Grand Reserva, though not labelled as such. The Especial has only been released 3 times in 70 years, 1964, 1973 and 2001. Looking forward trying this special wine! 😊

López de Heredia's Viña Tondonia Blanco reserva is such a spectacular wine, did you get a chance to try it? An all-time favorite white Rioja for sure!
