Ditto the comment about packing everything with cords in its own baggie (or similar pouch). Keeps the clutter in the bag down, and I hope it makes it easier for the tsa to check (and therefore less likely to go crazy checking it). Great recap of the tools used, and we all should have.

Hope u padded the tools well, cause have u ever seen how they pile the luggage on the trollies n in the plane? They stack em! I would bring the coffee strainer in my on board carrier lol. N it's called a Robertson bit 😂. 🍻

Haha wellllll, TSI decided to go through my luggage and thankfully the tools were there but they left zippers open and my charging cords were missing. It was a fiasco!!

@@debsrvservices oh geez! 🫢 I would be livid 😡. I feel for you 🤗. I never pack stuff in side zipper compartments unless it's a carry-on. Clear bag pack small stuff in big zip plastic bags, n keep it all in the main compartment n use a tsi lock on the main. And I always get pulled aside n searched with my carry-on. Never bloody fails 🙄. Nothing joyful about flying, it's a drag imo. 🍻

Omg you are so right! My flight there was so awful. First it was delayed 7 hours and they didn’t have a plane. They had to call people in to work to fly us. I never got a voucher or anything. Then I had to drive an hour in the far way past my bed time. I didn’t get nearly enough sleep having to be up early for the inspection. Then the whole baggie thing and being unable to charge my devices. I really realized how much I hate flying now. Can you get away with a TSA lock?

@@debsrvservices yes! Been using the tsa locks for years! They have master keys to open those locks and they have to lock it back up after searching thus why to keep all stuff in main compartment as organized as can be. Like clear zip bags for non clothes n packing cubes for clothes, kinda thing, n even the tool bag like u showed yeah i would use too. N yeah 'Tsa' right, i hate Acronyms too lol. And i know you're flying for work, but no way can i fly anymore for travel vacation trips i just hate the waiting, like u just experienced. Thus RVing is my thing. 🍻

I checked the luggage so I didn’t have to bring it on the plane but the dang TSA tore apart my luggage losing my charging cords. When I pulled my luggage off the carousel my Apple Watch charger was dangling outside of my bag. They also went through my bag on the return flight. All my tools were there!
