This is legit so great, I think it is to short actually. Honestly I could listen to this for the top 200 players on 10 episodes

Fun Fact: It turned out that your Monday Match Analysis was my #1 most watched podcast on KZbin (82hrs), and your Mailbag was my #2 most watched podcast according to KZbin themselves.

Tsitsipas needs Guga in his box. Right guy, tight personality and familiar with Stephanos game. Truth is, I see him able to bounce back in the top ten but winning a major, idk maybe just maybe but he needs someone big and stable behind him.

19:33 I definitely disagree, look at how Djokovic has changed (and improved) both his forehand and serve around this age. The same goes for Nadal with his serve.

Great Show! Both of you are entertaining and both of you know your stuff (i initially was wrong about Alex Grushkin, who i first thought was primarely there for making average funny jokes but he is way better than just that). Fun and interesting to watch!!

Re Stef, exactly, it's his PARENTS. The mother is a nightmare, she will not let him fly away from the nest. We had hopes when he hooked up with Paula that he'd grow a pair, but no... it's really sad. I'd like to know who is managing his finances. She isnt going to let go of her golden goose.

Shelton drastically overachieved in 2023, 2024, was a slight regression in comparison, but probably a consolidation season.

28:48 The level of talent of the young french players is almost exactly the same as the old ones and I don't really give them a good chance of beating Carlos and Sinner, especially at the slams.

Enjoyed most of this except where Gill wrote off Dimitrov. No doubt he'll continue to view Dimitrov's every loss as a portent of imminent doom & every win as a fluke. How dare he play so well in his 30s?! He has no right to keep beating Alcaraz like that. Dimitrov wasn't gifted his top 10 ranking - he earned it. I hope Dimitrov has a brilliant 2025. Beneath his, 'Aw shucks I'm just happy to be here' routine is a steely determination to keep realising his potential. And there is no better player to watch on court doing just that.

Being Greek myself, I can tell you that Greek parents are extremely controlling. It's like an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, where the love is conditional. Stef should've cut ties a long time ago.

What is it you don't get about injuries. It's because de Minanur played out of his mind that he got injured. Period. He pushed his body beyond its limits. End of story. And if he keeps on pushing his body beyond its endurance he will keep getting re-injured. It's not hard to figure this out.
@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten5 күн бұрын
Overuse injuries are not immediately this severe after only one point. He felt nothing and then all of a sudden after a weird movement he got injured, it's pretty clear this was not because he pushed his body too much. And he has been pushing his body this hard for 5+ years so why would it happen now?
