Subscribed. So glad I came across your video. Today was my 1st day of charcoal, resin & incense. I thought the resin went under the charcoal and the incense went on top of the charcoal. LOL. The charcoal I received is way too big, so I set off my smoke alarms, as well! Thanks for your tips & I will check out bamboo charcoal. I always loved scents, can't wait to follow your tutorials. Exactly how long should charcoal burn?
@aromatherapyoils5 жыл бұрын
Welcome to our KZbin channel Waddya! How long charcoal burns depends on a few things - one of them being the size of the charcoal. Scents Of Earth suggests that their small bamboo charcoal briquettes burn for about 45 minutes. scents-of-earth.com/bamboo-charcoal-small-baieido/ Enjoy making your own resin incense!

I love this video and I love your personality! You are too cute! I've never heard of those bamboo charcoals before, they are so neat and I will definitely check them out. I like to burn incense and herbs a lot and charcoal disks can really smoke up my room like a crazy ass hotbox. Thanks for the idea! Blessed be 💙

Where did you purchased the bamboo charcoal, and what is the brand?
@aromatherapyoils3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rodney! We like to use bamboo or hinoki charcoal because they do not have any lighter fluid in the charcoal as some of the regular charcoal rounds. They are available at Aromatics International. www.aromatics.com/products/charcoal-tablets

Hi Andrea, thanks that's a great video. I don't get why you are supposed to let your mixture dry before using it, I thought the active ingredients are the volatile part?
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Great question, Perceneij, the resin will burn better if you let it set for a couple days.

Thank you for wonderful tips🌺 frankincense smells amazing! Could I now how long it takes for the resin with EO to be ready? Any signs? I made my mix and burned it after less than 24 hours 😅
@aromatherapyoils5 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah! After stirring the ingredients together we suggest lettiiin the resin sit out (uncovered) to dry for about 24 hours.

that's really cool. do you recommend a site to buy quality resins? are there any other resins you burn ? will any ceramic bowl work ?
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Melanie, I get most of my resins from two different sources: Aromatics International and Scents of Earth. I can't say that any ceramic bowl will work but if you're interested in one like I have in this video my friend makes them. His website is tinybowls.com/ . :o)

I was wondering if you know that smell that all new age shops seem to have is it dragons blood or just a combination of all the incense and other stuff combined. Cause I love it. I want my house to smell like it. Lol.
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Tracy, my thought is that it is a combination of all the different incenses the shop carries.

You had mentioned that you liked to burn resins out on your porch...is there a resin blend to help keep mosquitoes away?
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
The resin blend in the video seems to keep those mosquitoes away. Let me know how it works for you, Silver Wolf.

Hi Andrea! Could you possibly provide me with a link for buying this particular charcoal bamboo?
@deborahbrown20537 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Andrea. I wish I had known about this site sooner. Some of the EOs are quite unique! I've ordered a few things besides the charcoal, for now, and will be buying more items in the future. I recently read your book "Essential Living Aromatherapy Recipes For Health and Home." I had never looked at the author of "The Heart of Aromatherapy," even though I have it sitting on my livingroom bookcase. When I saw it featured on aromatics.com, it blew my mind to find you wrote that, too! What a woman!!!
Boa tarde poderia traduzir os ingredientes em português por favor obrigada fique com Deus

D Coleman At Aromahead Institute we offer some great classes to educate people on the safe use of essential oils. We don't sell oils. I can suggest Aromatics International - they have a wholesale program.
