The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

I tend to understand what is said if I get distracted and do other things while the video is going in the background but I get lost when I focus and try to pay close attention.
