I would need at least 45 days to pace myself, and if affordable, maybe 50-55 days, so that I can take care of any incidentals. Yes, I will cry, but once I do....I will let go of whatever it is I am holding on to. Physical injuries are different, but I would take whatever time needed to recuperate, and keep the camino going.

I did the whole Camino. Lots of feet issues. Lots of suffering, lots of joy. But yes, surrender to the pain. It is what it is. Totally worth it.

@@caminotellers really great. 106km with my son gave us time to bond and reflect before he goes to university. Talcom powder prevents blisters! Ear plugs help sleep! Nothing beats the feeling when you get to the Cathedral
