Brilliant tips Von. Thanks! However, I just wanted to point out something: that process starting from the 50:34min mark. 1. Don't ungroup the ellipses 2. Arrange the purple shape so that it's on top of the grouped ellipses 3. Select both group and the purple shape 4. Instead of using the Shape Mode Minus Front use the Pathfinder Trim 5. Ungroup once and voila!

I haven’t tried Trim in many moons. But you’re correct and when I tried it I remember why I never use it. The top shape that trims the grouped shapes or compound shape remains and is grouped with the trimmed shapes. Why? So I have to ungroup, select, and delete the top shape. It’s not a huge thing, but annoyed me because FreeHand was faster. But you’re right, I could do it in this context faster. Thanks for reminding me!

Hi Von, in the render swatch legend section, the dark blue swatch on the right has different CMYK values. Is this a bug in the script?

Yeah, it’s not perfect. I just use it to generate the format and plug in my specific information to save time.
