Here is a fabrication shop we are proud to be associated with! In this video you will see
the biggest anvil sold at the best price I've ever heard of. Also, a super-sized shop built
induction forge that Jim Denny built for a rock pit conveyer repair job.

It’s good to look back on crazy projects you’ve been through. We did a complete renovation on the foyer of a functional high rise at nights over a couple of weeks. Every morning people would arrive as we were leaving, and it looked like nothing had happened. Until suddenly the joinery went in, then the green wall, then the lighting blah blah, one of those jobs you’re glad it’s over because nothing can go wrong once it’s done

I built a small jet engine that uses a rotational induction heater…not super efficient…but on small scale and with an inconel radiator tube…it does work…there’s quite a bit of heat loss but on a tiny scale it holds enough heat to produce energy for propulsion of a model jet…I’m more on the engineering side … but this is the beauty of math science and the application of the two to make something magnificent …

That is a miller proheat, I run those pretty often for heat treatment and stress relief of fabrications where I work. One of those power sources maxes out at 35kw to answer your question on what the power output is. We have one oven at work that runs off 3 of those in parallel. 105kw in total

It's the cyclic rate that does the rapid heating. Instead of regular 60 cycles ,induction heaters use 800 cycles to get those molecules buzzing!!

Whoa. I wore White Ox gloves when I was hauling chips/sawdust/bark in the Willamette Valley back in the early 2000s. They were perfect for wet weather work and I kept three pair in the truck so I never had to wear a soaking wet pair. The dash vents helped dry them out in between use. Haven’t seen that brand for a while.

I’m curious how the induction forge is wired. It looks like a giant electromagnet. I watched a few videos on the subject. What you can see does look like an electromagnet but the heart of the unit is a bit more involved. 😊
