I love it when young people are so good in traditional Jazz.

Its absolut amazing. Why do I like this so mutch better then every orchestra I have heard before playing this music. Amazing sax solos. How the trumpet trombone section used the mute to create that sound during the clarinet amazing solo playing. I loved the crazy trombone solo and how it got started with some kind of boost from the orchestra. Fantastic

This is high school!? How is that even possible? 😁 This is even beyond college level. I have a degree in music so I know. This is even beyond average professional. Most kids don’t have the time, energy, or focus to put into musicianship at the high school level to play this well. Impressive! - oh, and Brianna it’s quite cute. That’s quite the energy she’s got! Wish I played sax that well in high school!!

Love the fact that these youngsters appreciate the masters. We need to remember and acknowledge what went before. I hope, however, that they don't get trapped in the past, or fail to "grow" the music. What should this great music sound like now? I already know how it sounded in the last century.
@genez4295 жыл бұрын
Actually... it takes a lot of growth to play this music as wonderfully as they do! Mind you I grew up on the Beatles and Hendrix. This is music! Interestingly, I do not like it as much when older musicians play it.
