I love watching these XXXL models flying. They always look and sound like they’re the real thing. My brothers flew the 1/4a (?) r/c planes and they were fun to watch, but seeing these, the concentration of the pilots, the hours (years) and expenses of these planes is highly respected. LOVE the Virgin Atlantic 747 and Eastern Airlines L1011! The propeller airplanes are really cool too especially the Pan Am DC7. I don’t like the idea of taking off and landing them on a grass field especially one as uneven as this one, that’s the quickest way to ruin these beautiful models. Awesome piloting skills , the C-17 was a tough one, that would have been an aborted landing for sure and serious interrogations in real life LOL oh gosh almost forgot that poor 727, i was on “oh shit mode” for both takeoff and landing! No more grass fields please 🙏

With my flying skills, I'd ask all of those not directly involved with a model on the flight line to get behind the chain link fence. Something big as Tyler Perry's Virgin Atlantic model would do a lot of damage if something went wrong and it veered off to the right on that landing.

Custom built one off projects, not something you buy in a shop. Price is what the owner can get for it. I'd guess $50K+ for this 747 model. It is exceptional.
