Awesome scale flying from this pilot of his monster Vario 1/4 scale EC 135 Heli and nearly ended in disaster when on the final approach it clipped the ring used by foamy pilots to fly through in a different flying slot!

The helicopter is probably a German Vario. They have a website that's also in English. The color scheme is from a Dutch ambulance helicopter.

That's a turbine engine- those cost about $3500 US.The radio, receiver, gyro and servos is probably $2000. Plus the rest is probably $10,000 US. It's probably more in the $20,000 range realistically.

+ViceVersa Musik If I were to guess, this model aircraft was probably made from scratch and took years to build. Probably the only 'off the shelf' components were the rotor blades, engine, servos, and other electronics. Now that I think about it, the rotor blades may have also been made from scratch. The guy may be an engineer or probably knows some badass machinists and composite technicians. Anyone else know?? I'd like to know too :-P
