I have struggled with depression for a long time, this pandemic made it worse for me. I have tried to get a better job, but the market is horrible. I was losing hope for awhile, I haven't been in church for months. It was a point where I let myself believe that I wasn't good enough for a job. Then last week happened. I had four interviews and got a job. I start this week. Something will break. God will come through. It's going to be okay, even if we don't think it will be, it will be. It will be okay, through grace and power it will be okay. God loves you and hasn't given up on you. He's in your corner.

I have known the Lord for over 45 years and over and over He has demonstrated his faithfulness, his perfect timing, his unfailing capacity to hold me when I feel I am falling -again. Is this weakness? Yes, and in that weakness his power is made perfect. This is, of course, why we walk by faith and not by sight. A nice verse, often quoted....but then he sets you up to actually practice it in real life. That is the moment when you fall into his arms and allow the creator of the universe to create in you a clean heart, and once more he proves in real life that nothing - nothing at all is too hard for him. The timing of your post is amazing. We (my wife and I) are just about to take another leap of faith and relocate without all the resources we need to do that, but we are committed to his call. I don't doubt that this move is right, but this morning, I had no sense of connection with the Lord. I read, I prayed, and prayed some more and rested in his faithfulness and not my feelings. Then I saw your post. I was instantly connected again with him and deeply encouraged and - and this is the good bit - as I read your words, the Father spoke to me through them. Thank you SO much, and may the Lord bless you in your new job, overshadow you as you work and provide for you beyond your wildest dreams. It will indeed be OK!
