It makes me so happy to see black people playing classical instruments like this it makes me feel amazing seeing someone look like me playing the same instrument i do. Especially because I’m the only black girl in my class playing viola. This is so inspiring.

Good girl..I am an old white lady who plays piano, pipe organ and all things keys but let me tell you..I think I have never seen a people who have music born in them as black people, whatever that means. Everyone moves as though they hear music and black musicians pull things out of their instruments I can only dream of. Why, I ask myself and I think it is because God knew the prejudices, the hardships and cruelties as a people that would be endured. Music has made the way for you to climb to the top of the heap and I am so glad. I only wish people like Beyonce and Jay-Z could and would use their money and prestige to find many more Ezinmas because they are out there. Imagine orchestras of street kids playing instruments and showing the world what talent is. I can and there is enough wealth in the black community to make it happen, please God from my mouth to Your ear.

M & M's In this video the viola is biggest and meant as a filler for the middle chords between cello, (double bass), and violin. The biggest in the string family is the Double bass however. (use to be the Octobass but I'm pretty sure no one really produces those anymore)
