Hi Catalina, when explaining "el marcador está encima de la profesora Catalina" there isn’t an accent mark on the on el. I understand the marker is a he so should there not be an accent or is the el referring to the definite article? Thank you.

You got it John. In this case of “el marcador” el refers to the ... “the marker” therefore it has no accent :). Way to go recalling the definite articles. Chócalas :)
