+tcaen123 Thanx for kind words. The sound recorded with zoom is straight from guitar and mixed with ambience mic recording. This time to record audio Zoom H6 was used. Various situations various setups but this setup works quit well. Light mastering is done afterwards.

I'm taking nothing away from the musician but my hat's off to whoever it was that shot, and edited, this piece. It's muy good. And the mother daughter (?) combo to his left side was hilarious in its fashion, not distracting at all. I think a poster below said it best; adorable to watch the interaction, especially juxtaposed against the music, which maybe was the intent of the editing? Speaking of music anyone else have this impression the first time they saw this guy? "Jesus plays guitar!?! Who knew!?" And my apologies to any/all with any religious sensibilities. Sans doute est-ce le soir lorsque le soleil décline. La place s'en trouve t-elle ainsi à l'ombre depuis un certain temps. C'était sans compter sur la venue d'un musicien venu y apporter une certaine lumière. Estas TONNE, il l'éclaire la place, apportant un rayon de soleil intérieur à tous ces gens statufiés dans une immobilité presque de recueillement. C'est qu'ils la recueillent, par tous les pores de leur sensibilité, la musique d'Estas TONNE. Avec lui, c'est un autre monde. Ce jeu si particulier qu'il a de pouvoir broder à l'infini sur quelques accords judicieusement choisis. Le discours fleuve de sa guitare vous emmène, au gré du langage de ses sons à la mélodie et à la rythmique si prégnantes, vers des ailleurs si loin de l'ennui d'un quotidien. Avec lui, sur l'asphalte si captivant de sa musique, c'est à un road movie du son auquel il vous convie. Et pour nous transmettre le souvenir de cette belle découverte, on a en prime le talent de cet excellent photographe et vidéaste qu'est Geri DAGYS. Cette subtile façon qu'il a de filmer...il filme, certes le musicien, mais tellement et surtout le public, rendant ainsi parfaitement l'osmose qu'il y avait de cet instant entre l'artiste et son auditoire. Et aussi cette dynamique qu'il imprime à ses images par des successions de plans accélérés ou ralentis. Estas Tonne et Gei DAGYS...assurément une très belle rencontre que ces deux là !

nothing against Estas, but really, what are your arguments to say such thing? have you ever heard guitarrists as Sergio Assad, Agustin Barrios, Tárrega or the great Paco de Lucía? Estas tonne plays ove and over again the same chords adding electrical effects to his guitar, has a medium level technique etc.. Paco de lucia spend his life perfectioning the musical flamenco language and made it wider and bigger, and mastering old and new techniques that no mortal could even attempt to try because of the huge amount of fisical and mental pain .. but once he reached such level he was able to expres through the guitar as no one else..unfontunally, not every people can understand it because for the most people the easiest sounds are more enjoyable , a minor E chord with artificial reverd and running the frets using the E string as a pedal note is million times easier than practicin "picado" (it painful and so frustrating to master it) and run the frets with total freedom without needing to use pedal notes and as a result have a wider musical vocabulary to expres yourself.. Again , i have nothing against Estas Tonne, but people need to be careful while saying such things
