Hi Carol. So glad that you liked everything. It looked like a rainbow on the table once I had everything set up!!

Love the Pyrex dishes

Hi Anita. The Pyrex just draws us in, doesn't it? Do you collect it? I had a good week for Pyrex shopping yesterday and today. Stay tuned for another video.

Don't exactly know if I can name-drop, but Goodwill has an auction site that I haunt a lot, and after watching so many of your postings, I actually looked up their Pyrex this morning, and was amazed at the volume of offerings and the PRICES BEING BID! I also looked up your RS Prussia, and found a few items of interest as well! Jadeite is always out of sight, no matter where I look.
@livingthegoodlifechannel5 жыл бұрын
Hi Miss Alana. Thanks for mentioning the Goodwill site. I have been on there before, but mainly just to drool at the silver and jewelry. I am a frugal shopper, and the items on the website usually go for a lot more than I want to pay. I used to buy RS Prussia on ebay, but I stopped when they began requiring Pay Pal only.

Maybe those monogram silver objects are cloth napkin holders.

Hi there. You are so RIGHT! They are napkin clips. I didn't realize that there was such a thing. Thanks!
@Gogrannygo555 жыл бұрын
I think those are napkin holders. I love the bear earrings. What kind of stone? All the jewelry is very nice. And the jadeite cereal bowl!! I am green with envy!! Lol. Great finds.
@livingthegoodlifechannel5 жыл бұрын
Hello! I am not sure on the stones in the bear earrings but judging from the color....turquoise and lapis? It really pays to look at everything and delve into the stacked up dishes etc... You occasionally find something hidden in amongst the everyday coffee mugs et al.

I like that Zuni jewelry. Nice finds :-)

Thanks, Tony! If selling online wasn't such a pain in the neck, I would do pretty well with all the Native American jewelry that I find.
@2ndhanddaisy6 жыл бұрын
Selling online isn't too horrible. Have you ever tried it? I just been doing it for 15 or more years so I'm kind of burned out, but honestly, I'm listing some perfumes right now.
@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony. I've never sold any of my finds except at a garage sale. I just don't want to have to deal with the prep, shipping, customer service and taxes, so I don't sell. I'll have another garage sale next year and clean out the house a bit more. : )

O.K. I don't blame you. I assume you keep or collect the better jewelry?

My favorite was the little red refrigerator dish. So many pretty pieces of jewelry.

Hi June. I love those fridge dishes. I need a display area for my Pyrex and Fire King like Michelle with Thrfiting 101 has in her dining/kitchen area. The jewelry was a surprise and so cheap!

Awesome finds!! I’m so jealous of the Jadeite finds!!
@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
So glad that you liked them. I have always liked Jadeite but didn't start collecting it until a few years ago---and only then when it was reasonable which we all know isn't very often. Thanks for the notes!

Yes, I keep all the jewelry. I occasionally gift a family member or friend with a piece that I know that they would like. For the junk jewelry, at the garage sale this past spring, I put @ 3 items in a baggie and sold them for $1 per bag. The first woman in the door bought 54 bags. Her eyes were bugging out getting all that jewelry at such a cheap price. I had already tested anything that looked like silver or gold, and even kept some questionable items. Glad to get rid of it. I already have over 2 gift bags full to bag up for next year's sale.

Hi Karen. I've been seriously looking for the Native American jewelry for about 3 years. I am getting quite a bit of rings, pins, necklaces and a few bracelets. I am always surprised when I find it...even now.

I checked what sold on Ebay. The napkins clips might be the best find of the day.

Hi there. After you told me what they were, I went on ebay too. Looks like $25 each, right? So surprising. Boy, I don't mean to not be thankful, but I sure wish that I had the rest of them!

You did great with jewelry this week. Way to go with the native stuff. Native stuff has been selling so well for me on ebay right now. The bear claw earrings should be more like $20 or around there, and the bear fetish earrings are really nice. The inlaid pin and ring set are my favorite, and are actually really well made.
@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
HI there. Thanks so much! I seem to find quite a bit of Native American jewelry. I mentioned to another viewer that I tend to go to sales in older neighborhoods so people are getting rid of their old 60/70's jewelry. Too bad that I don't sell on line!
@tigermoon446 жыл бұрын
Great turquoise haul! The bear earrings are called fetish earrings.
@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
Thanks you! I definitely found a lot of Native American items in one jewelry box. I absolutely love going through old jewelry boxes as they are usually loaded with such interesting items and you can normally find some great vintage and even gold/silver items.

@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria. Thank you very much for your subscription. Going forward the videos will be clearer as I've figured out that I have to upload from the You Tube app so that the videos don't get uploaded twice and lose clarity. The Pyrex is really fun! I enjoy them very much and I hope to find a way to display them soon!
@beehansen52846 жыл бұрын
More great items! You seem to come across a lot of Native American jewelry. The Butterprint Pyrex is great. I notice that your video is much clearer than previous ones. 👍
@livingthegoodlifechannel6 жыл бұрын
Hi Bee. Thank you. I think that I come up with so much Native American jewelry because I try to go to the older houses first on my garage sale route. They usually have people wanting to clear out items, and they would have jewelry from the 60/70's. Plus they usually have good prices since they just want to clear out the stuff. Thanks also for noticing that the video is clearer. Turns out that I needed to upload directly from the KZbin app vs from my phone onto KZbin. Who knew that was the solution? I have been looking at every setting under the sun, and it made no difference. Take care!

Do you sell on Ebay?
@livingthegoodlifechannel5 жыл бұрын
Hi MIchelle. I do not sell online---ebay or anywhere else. I had a garage sale last year to declutter my house but that's it. I try to limit what I buy to things that I love or that I can give as gifts or potentially sell at a garage sale if I get it cheap enough Thanks for asking. .

When you get older your body doesn't work as well the poor lady may have also lost her husband ( it is sad to also think that it is possible her children did not go around her very often anymore, this could be the possibility for the lady's home being in such horrible disarray ) just an idea, it's sad!
@livingthegoodlifechannel5 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathy. I agree. I think that the lady had started to go downhill in physical health, and had to be moved closer to family. I filmed the video just after I got home, and I was still shocked at what I had seen. I hope that she is happy and healthy now. Thanks for the note.
