I feel this is not something you don't know...but I have to be sure....Christine McConnel is on you tube and she loves a bit of dark and beautiful surroundings....she uses the most beautiful and perfect pieces of art to complete her living space....currently she has moved to a huge mansion in New York....and is redoing each room... So fun to watch her ..

The pyramidal metal object you bought for your garden is called a garden obelisk or a tuteur. It's an exceptional one and unusually large. What a great find, and you've put it into the perfect place!
@shellyott58988 ай бұрын
I thought it was the bottom or base of a windmill 😅

I'm aware what a garden obelisk is. 😉 I just don't think that was it's original purpose.

Right!? Like when is that going to happen again!? Probably never! I couldn't believe my luck. I'm always thrifting, antiquing, junking, whatever and have never ever stumbled upon such a huge lot of stuff I actually want to read.

Greetings, A couple of weeks ago, I pulled something that looks very much like your garden centerpiece out of a big dumpster. The previous owner told me it was the base of a windmill. I filled up an old tractor tire with dirt, put the metal piece in the center of it all then planted an heirloom tomato plant in it to grow and vine. Great minds 🍅

I know exactly what you mean! The days of the great scores is our drive, our fuel for more!😉 I collect really old books, vintage poor antique, but i use them for decor and just the beauty of them! Oh wow what a killer deal on the metal card catalog piece!! I would have jumped on that too! And that's A perfect place for it! The last tall rusty piece is another perfect find for your garden! Its going to be stunning with the flowers running on it!! Your garden is already a flower lovers dream, this will only add to the beauty of it🌺 Aww super cute toad bench! I'm A sucker for anything made of wood, especially if its old! Great haul.. my dream is to one day find a place like that to explore! I did get to go digging thru several old sheds back in the late winter that no one had gone thru in years.. found lots of treasures! But an entire house & property, nice!! TFS!😊

Final girls by Riley Sager is SO GOOD! I read that recently because I randomly came across it on tumblr and it sounded right up my alley and BOY WAS IT. in fact I liked it so much that I wanna read all the other books by that author now. I'm so jealous of your book haul omg (although I have a lot of those but still. Aaah) ❤❤

I am loving this video and am a new subscriber! Please be careful when building a home library upstairs. You don't want to put too much weight up there with the shelves and books. It's riskier than you think. (I had an acquaintance who learned that the hard way.)

i'd never heard of a clematis before so i googled it, funnily enough it's one of the first plants i ever had as a child, i just never knew the real name (i named it "Crystal" so in our family they've been called crystals ever since lol). i haven't had one in years but they're gorgeous and omg that windmill makeshift trellis is going to be so beautiful covered in clematis'!! very creative idea. i want to pick out some for my own garden now haha, yours look amazing!

Who's the gatekeeper of the "home library"? Someone on TikTok? 😆 You definitely don't need 1000 books to say you have a home library.
@kaylahstroup6 ай бұрын
This feels like a weird anti-TikTok comment? 1000 books as the amount to qualify as a home library is a long time common idea. Some folks just like to have little goals to reach toward, no biggie! :)
@aksez2u6 ай бұрын
@@kaylahstroup Right. I was thinking later that it’s a fun goal if it suits you 🙂 But also anti TikTok 😁 ❤️ I wouldn’t want people to feel like they literally can’t claim to have a home library if they have fewer than 1000 books
