I think that the black and white ducks are actually loons. It's a water bird with many unique calls. One of their calls is the wail. It's a haunting call that is often used in movies and TV shows, to make a scene eery or cheepy, or a little scary.

My late husband his name was Thomas - Tom. He was a sweet man, happy person, loved life, hobby was woodworking, avid reader- read anything he could get his hands on, did a crossword daily, very smart man, loved my nieces and nephews but yet never wanted any kids. At 52 he had a heart attack and within four days he was gone. Things happen for a reason. The heavens got a wonderful Angel that day. He always said I don’t have any real friends. Well it was SRO at his memorial. I miss him everyday. My Tom was a great guy.

On both the clear glass paperweight and the purple glass pitcher you said they had defects - those are open pontil marks which helps you determine that the glass was hand blown on a punty and then broken off. It’s a good sign to see that! Not a bad sign. Hand blown glass has a good market so I would keep an eye out for that but make sure to learn the actual difference between a pontil mark and real damage so you don’t make mistakes and then blame me 😂. lol I appreciate it. I know of pontil marks on bottles but did not consider that they were on paperweights and pitchers but it makes sense. Glass is a newer area so I am learning as I go and one way to learn is to make mistakes. Going to do more research on that for sure .

I don’t use a go pro and will never get a chest holder. They look absolutely ridiculous, the estate sale dealers won’t allow it, you can’t control the camera angles as well, and you get a fish lens view that I hate. I’m so used to doing one handed phone filming.

On the mr. Peanut jar, would you ever search on line for the lid just incase someone broke the jar and knew how collectable they are so listed it? You could het a discount on the jar for not having the correct lid,and pick the lid off line ...also the little purple pitcher you said had a defect on it,was most likley what they call in the glass world nat w deffect its what they would call an open pontil or an iron pontil which is a process they stopped using around 1864 ish....

Nope. I am not getting a Go Pro or simialr device. They look ridiculous, estate sale dealers will not like it because it is so blaantly obvious, you get much worse control of the camera angle, many more people would be recorded without permission, and I don't like the fish lens look. Also, I also have received many comments that these videos are much better quality than ones filmed with go pros because I can control the camera angles better, there is no fist lenses look, and pics are clearer. It has nothing to do with challenging myself. The estate sale dealers will not allow it. The videos are top quality. Would not have the views I do if they weren’t.

Wow! I would have had to pack a lunch to pick at that sale! Loved the fab pantry....wish I had storage space like that. The goudge in the pink ceramic stork and basinet piece seems to be a maker defect. The crazing and crack possibly from water damage or other usage damage. I hope you were able to go back.....PS Glad to see Daisy is a collector too......

The flowers in the Lucie are called "straw flowers". They were a big deal in the 70's-80's. Loved seeing New Woodstock again. I lived in Bville for a long time.

I had that reindeer punch out set that I decorated my classroom with. The red yarn was used to string the reindeer and sleigh together in a line. I think I bought them new in the ‘80s from the Current card company.

Opening the boxes of crayons with one hand is compromising the integrity of the box. You need a go-pro you can hang around your neck and open things with both hands. I couldn’t hang out at the buck bin as long as you did. I’d be nervous something good would get away while I wasted my time with the cheap stuff.

No, nothing happened at all to damage the box. No way am I wearing a go pro bc it looks ridiculous, you can’t control the camera angles well, estate sale dealers won’t allow it, and I don’t like the fish lens view. I don’t worry about treasures in the next room when I have treasures right in front of me. Did very well in that dollar box

Ahh, I don’t know about that. The box was opened rather roughly. And seems there is a crease in the wall of the box. And I’d rather find something for thirty dollars I can resale for 130 dollars and miss that buy than buy a bunch of matchbooks that I pay a dollar for and make 30 dollars on.

@@olliepoo Well, I do know about it because I have the box and nothing I did caused a crease in it. I literally just sold the rodeo art piece for $90 which was still sitting there after I looked through a dollar bin. It did not take long at all to go through the dollar bin and it has already paid off such as the lucite paperweight selling for $25. You also never know if you may find a $100 profit item in a dollar bin without taking the time to look. Also, the sale was poorly attended, and the time I spent did not cause me to miss out on much if anything in other rooms. Plenty of examples of items sourced for cheap resulting in hundred to multi-hundred dollar flips from my videos. Just go back and watch my prior what sold videos or check out my IG feed.
