They are actually Kpop. the 'Koreans' that say they are Jpop are not actually Koreans. Westerners might not no this, but there are shocking amount of japanese and chinese that claim they're korean on the internet and try to devalue something korean or intentionally misinform foreigners. In this popculture side, they try to claim something is Jpop or Cpop or Apop (lol) even though they are basically a Kpop style.

They usually use cringey nicknames like 'Daehan Minkook' or something like 'Hail Korea' in hangul to act as if they are some kind of Korean nationalists. But then tries to convince foreigners with lies that are a disadvantage and brings wrong cogniton of Korean culture.
