I'm blown away by Lauder for men. Also have and adore Aramis Aramis, Aramis 900, Aramis Devin . I want to get Aramis Tuscany and jhl and Havana. Tge 1985 adidas I told you about kind of smells like Aramis Tuscany mixed with boss number one or something. You should really check it out. If I find it I'll give you a sample. I'm loving this channel too much. Lol.

This was such a refreshing video to watch - seeing another guy endorsing Estée Lauder perfumes! I’ve worn youth dew, azuree, knowing, Beautiful, and all of the aramis line. I think the male frag heads should be a bit more adventurous and take a chance on all of Lauders fragrances. Basically this is what all the modern “niche” houses are recreating now. I also recommend aromatics elixir by Clinique, an offshoot of Estée Lauder. Gained a new fan :D

Well, you've knocked it out the park again. I like your honesty in buy failures too and appreciate you wear what you like. Similar here too, I've had scents that I bought for girlfriends that actually smell better on me! One notable example being the original Beverley Hills by Gale Hayman, it was all the rage early 90's, she loved it and put some on me, my it bloomed! I had no qualms wearing it, so I'm guessing if you like the Youth Dew try out this one. Just be careful as following on from Beverley Hills there were other releases in similar bottles all with Beverley Hills Gale Hayman but with a different titled perfume name. Looking forward to more coming and that hour flew by.

Brilliant idea on the a larger distributor family portrait. Though there are some other distributor family portraits we'd probably cringe at. Keep these longer videos coming. However long it takes for quality! This was a walk down the memory lane. My mom and grandmother wore Youth Dew. In their honor I purchased a recent bottle in the retro turquoise curvy bottle , the same that used to sit on their dressers. Brilliant fragrance. I remember wearing JHL when it first came out. I'll hunt for a vintage to go along with my Tuscany I still have. I need to try Knowing and Azuree. Beautiful was a bit ahead of its time.

Yes i agree on the youth dew front entirely... my grandmother who passed away last year wore it and it is a beautifil fragrance... on of the top 10 releases of the century I think you could say 🤔 As far as hunting down down azuree pure fragrance spray & knowing I would start with azuree as it is one of the most amazing examples of heavy oakmoss in a fragrance from 40s years ago and as a leather lover it just really does it for me 😊 But knowing is no slouch and a huge hidden gem for men to be wearing... Thanks for the supprt on the longer videos Phil! Now a days everyone wants to bow down to the youtube algorithm & I am always the fish that swims against the stream. Have a great start to 2022 🥂

Thanks for that she lived a good life late 80s.. i think i would take late 80s if u could guarantee it to me right now 😂 I am just sick and tired of these "reviewers" who are really just paid advertisers for the big brands and if you notice they LOVE everything. I just want someones honest opinion even if i disagree just give me your honest opinion and i wasn't getting that. Everyone loves everything because they want to keep getting free bottles from the brands so they never want to piss anyone off. So i figured it was time to give my 2 cents since i know more than most of them and I am not an infomercial 🤣

Its out there... azuree pure fragrance spray is what you want... there is a reformulated version without the gold around the top... dont bother with that bottle...if you like leather and oakmoss you are gonna fall out of your chair when you smell this.. it is amazing👍

It is Ursa, but Ursa is darker and woody and lasts and lasts and lasts. I have Straight to Heaven, refills with travel sprayer and some decants of it, along with Ursa. I got them used on Basenotes. I'm happy with both offerings. I have the refills of Back to Black and some decants/travel sprayers. The performance on me is very good. TT's Laudano Nero is somewhat like Black Afgano, Carner's Cuir's, and Goldfield's&Banks Wood Infusion. I have BA and Cuir's. Laudano Nero's is dark and does last very well. I don't know if anything happened with the bottle changeover, but if you can find the older style, it's worth it. Hold on, evaluations of TT's has risen, so, best to use your own judgment. My Musc Raveguer is from 2013/2014. I'll have to check the cap. I love it. I will sample Music for Awhile. Yes, Bortnikoff is very good. I have decants of his first three offerings. I have a bunch of Russian Adam's, some Ensar's, Sultan Pasha's, and Taha's. I like Areej's new classic Atlantic Ambergris ll. Oh, just picked up TF's Beau de Jour. I have to say I like this one. I have a 100ml of Tuscan Leather from 2013. I also had a couple decants of Rasassi's LY. I gave one away and kept one. The one I kept seems smoother. The other is very rough around the edges. I Will look for Youth Dew, as well as Balenciaga's Pour Homme. happy holiday.

I have a few more videos like top leathers & most hated fragrances i want to do and maybe one or two more family portraits .. then i will start up the individual reviews ... very curious to see how those turn out as it will be a bit of a surprise for everyone involved... i feel like individual reviews and just talking about a bunch of fragrances are two completely different things 🙈🙉🙊 we will see how it turns out once i get a few under my belt

@@RamseytheRam yes jean kerleo was the in house perfumer for jean patou, and he made lacoste, patou pour homme and patou pour homme prive, which will cost you an arm and a leg to get them these days. he also made great perfumes which are still affordable to get these days like 1000 , eau de patou, ma liberte, sublime, all of those affordable ones even though were launched as women perfumes, but in my opinion, they all are very unisex, especially eau de patou and ma liberte.

I agree, however to be fair part of me loves discontinuations because if I have a discontinued fragrance it means it is more exclusive and less people are walking around wearing what I am wearing... selfish i know but I am honest to a fault 😄

Yes but the reformulation is still very good... if u can find a vintage go for it as they are still reasonable... if you want to save some $ the modern version is still nice👍
