Estelle and Joshua's Reunion - Trails in the Sky SC

This is why the Sky trilogy still holds up against the later series titles. Not many writers would be brave enough to do what Falcom's writers did here with Estelle. She took all the physical and emotional growth and knowledge she's amassed so far and used them all to get Joshua back. It's usually the girl who cries in scenes like this, but here she makes Joshua cry instead, and he changes his perspective and even learns something about himself and Estelle. They made us see that the Estelle now in this scene, while still the same person, is a much better and capable person than the Estelle back at the end of FC (you can note the contrast in the way she handled things then vs now, too). Another thing is that scenes like these usually have more pomp and circumstance in them, but here it's just an honest heart-to-heart with effective use of beautiful music we already know. I really love Trails in the Sky for this.

It this scene or Estelle Dream - where she plays Whereabouts Of Light/Talk with her mom - that still solidify Sky SC as my most fav Trails game to this day still - beaten Reverie 2 weeks ago -

@@muchinlove you can play them on a psp or a steam deck The psp version has no voice acting nor a speed up button tho They're still amazing games that are worth it in my opinion
