I love me some cherry. Did they have juice there? The guy in that jeep is dedicated to his filming. LOL Fun family fun in Estes KOA. Fun Chair! We wouldn't be able to stay there during the 4th of July. Our dog would freak from the fireworks show. Riding bikes is certainly the way to go. Cool place to visit!

Just subbed. Great video. I watched your Grand Lake video as well. My wife and I are going to be doing a week in CO in August. Do you think it would be wise to spend 2 nights in Grand Lake and then maybe 3-4 in Estes Park? I wasn't sure how to allocate the time. Thanks again!
@ColoradoMartini
@ColoradoMartini 2 жыл бұрын
There is more to see on the Estes Park side of RMNP and in town. So 3-4 days would be good in Estes. Grand Lake is beautiful and less crowded. A lot less crowded. I really enjoy renting a boat and going out on the lake. There is actually two lakes there. There was a huge fire in the Grand Lake area about a two years back. You might be shocked at its appearance. Almost took the town out. But it was saved. We are so glad you are enjoying our videos. We have many playlists on Colorado you might be interested in. And more going up on RMNP each week.

Nope it's always been the Stanley in Estes Park. King came here back in the seventies and wrote the shining and the stand. And that's why they both have Boulder Colorado so involved in the book. When he came out with Dr sleep a couple years ago he actually released the book in Boulder and had a sold-out talk/book signing. We were lucky enough to get one of those books that he'd signed during the talk. The Stanley definitely makes the most of it when you go there. I actually have a whole video about it

Thanks for the tour. Wife and I watched together live. So this is definitely a place she wants to go. First time we missed out on Estes was due to a busted windshield in Dinosaur NP, second time we missed it was because of a road closure and I didnt want to back track, the third time was because of a death in the family, and the 4th time was avoiding a tornado/bad weather around Sterling, Colorado. So hopefully.....next time. Thanks again guys!

We Absolutely love Estes Park. We did not know what to expect when we went there and we were amazed. What a great place for a bike ride. Renting a pontoon boat sounds like a lot of fun. Good tip on spotting wildlife. We always love seeing your wildlife pics.

I had no idea The Shining was based on an actual hotel. That was such a good film. This area looks so beautiful! Love seeing the elk! We have stayed at a number of KOA campgrounds and always enjoyed it. Thanks for taking us along to Estes Park, Colorado!

My parents and I did not get to go to RMNP this year so my mom and I are sitting here in Louisiana enjoying your videos. They are just what we like to see and you put just the right amount of each element into your video to keep it interesting and flowing! I'm a former TV news video journalist and editor.

Went there in 2015 with my wife. It literally took my breath away. It was an emotional experience to be submerged in God's beauty and grace. We are dying to go back. Thanks for sharing. This brought back so many wonderful memories.
