Nice looking rocket!! Of course, you did make a skill level 2 kit into a skill level 4 project, LOL :) I know that "stock" is an extreme challenge for you though. Good thing you tested that old elastic. These vintage kits almost always require new shock cords. I was a bit amazed that the clay was still soft. Sometimes it gets hard like the bubble gum that used to come in baseball card wax packs! I saw first flight, and yes, you need even more weight up front. The CP is a bit forward due to the wings, so the CG really needs a boost more forward. Really excellent looking Screaming Eagle!!

That's my God given talent........ take something extremely simple and complicate it to the point of ludicrously! LOL I appreciate the compliments on the aesthetics of the Eagle. Nose weight has been added and still falls within range of a C5-3 or D20, so the next test flight should be "more" successful.

The "grey" is too dark, the eagle was light gray, ... unless you are building it as an "E" model! 😱😁🤪😝🤣👍👍🇺🇸
