I'm going to be honest when I watched the first episode I thought Esther was funny as hell, but at the same time I was thinking she's a bit too much/over the top. By the second episode I notice she's that person who likes to be positive about everything, even in the moment of self doubt, which I like about her. If you've also notice she's very supportive of the other trainees & she doesn't like seeing people upset or doubting themselves 🥰. So what I'm trying to say is I've grown to like her even more for who she really is in every episode because let's face it she's also funny & entertaining as hell 😂😂

Its alot of new lisa stans and pop fans watching for Lisa, not saying all but a lot of the hate for esther comes from them to the point they even called her lisas saesang saying she joined the show cause of Lisa and now suddenly saying she joined cause she was popular. It honestly disappoints me to see the difference in these kpop fans compared to coop fans or a lot of ikuns who are watching. Esther wasn't even that popular before the show in comparison to kunkuns popularity when he joined IP but hey you know there's always these type of pop fans who do anything to hate and bring down people. I just wanna say esther deserves her position like any other trainee she has improved so much and her personality is real she only stated getting popular because afterwards a lot of people started watching her dramas. She may have started in D class but so did a lot of idols who ended up debuting for example fanchengcheng in nine percent Chen youwei in unine and even in a lot of Korean shows. These type of fans are pretty hypocritical because I guarantee most of them have watched produce shows before and so many trainees in produces show also started in low positions.

tbh comparing chinese shows like youth with you and idol producer to Korean survival shows I can clearly tell that koreans are so much more dramatic and I guess intense it makes me uncomfortable but Chinese shows are much more funny and humble and everyone gets along even though their in a competition there aren't many fights and usually they make a lot of friends amongst each other even after the show is over they still consider each other friends.

I don't know if you followed PD101 China, but Yang Chaoyue also gained a lot of fans for her personality and ended up ranked third in the finale. She got a lot of variety show appearances and is one of the more well-known Rocket Girls members. i feel like a lot of ppl just base esther yu on the way she acts exaggerately.. but actually what GIA said is true, it will be very cool to have esther as a friend, shes comfortable ard her friends and purposely acts to make her friends laugh which tbh is very normal and does not mean someone is spoilt edit: she probably feels touched and happy inside bc of what her friends say
