Hey Shug! Soooo many of you wonderful peeps have been asking about my shower routine since I began on KZbin. And today....it has arrived! I like to keep my shower routine short + sweet. I use an array of products that I believe are all relatively affordable and you all can have access to these items! In this video you will watch me dry brush, do a body glycolic peel, wax my under arms (or armpits -- but please don't call them that 😩) moisturize my skin and how I treat my cellulite.

I’m a mommy. And I give myself 1 day or night a week to pamper myself like this. I scrub,shave,wash and mask my hair,face mask after while I sip some tea. I go to bed feeling great and rejuvenated. @@kyat29 yes!!! After feeling for myself how easy it was to let myself go in the beginning, I make myself a priority. When my friends are expecting their fi5baby, thats always the advice I give them. Take care of you too. Never forget about yourself. Older people sometimes are old school and call u selfish "you got a baby now,you shouldnt've had a baby if you wanted alone time" blah blah. Thats the toxic "advice" I always heard,so until my husband was like stop letting anyone guilt u, I was like you're right. Lol

1- if you’re shaving then stop it , Regularly shaving the underarms can lead to excessive production of pigment cells. Stop shaving for 3 months (I know you might not want to have hairy armpits but you have to give the skin in that area a break , it needs to heal ) also winter is coming and it’s the best time to do this because we’re not going to wear sleeveless clothes. Also avoid clothes that is too tight in that area . 2- change your deodorant ,ARM & HAMMER Ultra MAX Deodorant is the BEST, you will never look back . It works for 24-48 hours . 3- now how to lighten that area ? GENTLY exfoliate your armpits to remove dead skin cells . It’s a very delicate area and over /harsh exfoliating will lead to more darkness. Combine one table spoon of sugar with some coconut oil or any natural oil you have and use it to exfoliate that area . Message VERY GENTLY in circular motions. Please don’t be rough , very gently. Do this ONCE a week only , in shower . 4- moisturize, moisturize , moisturize that area , use sweet almond oil as a moisturizer. Use it everyday. 5- if you can use Turmeric powder or licorice powder mask on your armpits everyday , that will be great . It works but it needs time (the whole 3 months) Combine 1 teaspoon of organic turmeric powder or licorice powder with some honey or yoghurt or both . Use it as a mask until it dries , then rinse it off . Do it before you shower. lastly, after the 3 months of no shaving , if you can afford getting laser hair removal for your underarm then that will be great . If you can’t do this then start waxing this area . Waxing is not better than shaving But the results of waxing lasts very long (3-4 week weeks ) it’s better than shaving every other day (this irritates the skin and leads to darkening) . My underarm area didn’t become dark when I started waxing . Also to maintain your results keep using that deodorant and ALWAYS moisturize with sweet almond oil or coconut oil .

Try sugar wax too Queen. It works great. Isn’t as painful and gets almost all the hair the first time around. Use 1 cup sugar (white sugar is what I use for this), 1/4 cup or lemon juice from a lemon and 1/4 cup of water (don’t use tap water). Add in a pot on medium high and stir occasionally for 5-7 minutes until it’s a honey color. Remove from pot and let cool down before use. I also recommend deodorants without aluminum and for some without baking soda.

I’ve found it’s important to apply the wax the way in which the hair grows and pull it off in the opposite direction. I break it up into three sections. I have no hairs left afterwards that need to be plucked. Going over the same spot more than once is damaging to the skin. In my case. But everybody has their own process.

But I have a question, I sometimes get large lumps on my armpit and it lasts like a week, and it happens after I shave or wax... what I usually do is wash my armpit, put talcum powder on it then use veet wax strips and then put vaseline cocoa radiant body oil on it, is it the body oil that is making it inflame like this?
