Thank you for putting subtitles on these videos. Ever since i first heard about this disaster I have wanted to learn more about it. Your videos have really brought insight in to what happened on that horrible night. I know there is a TV documentary series coming out soon. I think the first episode was shown at the Toronto international film festival. I hope when the series is out you'll do a video on it. I hope that the information will be accurate to what we know about what happened to the Estonia. I know there is a documentary on KZbin that show reconstructions of the disaster. though i cannot comment on how accurate it is. Keep up the good work!

Always wondered if it was possible to recover film from the numerous CCTV cameras aboard the ship

kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3aQanaNppt9mJI Now that you are talking about the rockwater dives, in that video (with the timestamp I linked), if you look at the top left corner you can see a foot and part of a leg, how did the swedish national archive let that go without censor? The video ends right after the diver puts his light on the foot

Perhaps it is a foot, but I don't think so. It is in the picture too long for no one to not notice. However there are bodies in the companionway, three according to the Rockwater report.

@@Estoniaveckan Weird that no bodies were reported in that area, as you can ask anyone what they are seeing and the most likely outcome is that they will say it's a foot

@@cynbloxy in the report they marked three bodies in the area, so it could be a part of a body. I hope that the footage is being removed.

@@Estoniaveckan If they reported three then that's 100% a foot and some part of a leg (the video ends abruptly after the diver puts his light on it and realizes that he's looking at part of body) The video is already online. Maybe that part has already been cut in the national archives when they realized their mistake

What's coming next for the new investigation? They have already raised the ramp and are inspecting it, after that what?

They will simulate the sinking sequence among other things. The ramp will also investigate the ramp and make a 3D model of it as I understand.

They could but they won't because of the grave peace.

Maybe, but there was no reason to use divers. All the investigations could be done with ROVs only.
