I am an American and my music teacher gave us a presentation about Estonian culture in music, and this was one of the songs he showed. I couldn't get it out of my head the tune, because I didn't know how to say these words. So I wrote myself a reminder to find this later, and wow it's such a powerful sound. I get that it's 32,000 people but still. Something about an almost chantlike song kind of stirs like a forgotten instinct. Makes you want to join in.

@@eddykohlmann471 How is it fascist? What fascist ideas does this song represent? Estonians is one of the least fascists people I can think of. If you're German, then you will _never_ understand the feeling of nationhood of small nations which have been dominated by bigger nations. That kind of nationalism has nothing to do with the kind of nationalism they had in Germany; which was about being big and dominating others. I recognize that spirit, in the spirit us Norwegians had in the 1800s. A lot of nationalistic poems and songs were written then. But none of them led to fascism or fascist ideas, they were all about appreciating our own independent culture and heritage, and thus not allowing Denmark or Sweden to rule over us. Left wingers and right wingers in Norway united under this, it had nothing to do with fascism. And neither has the five patriotic songs that they sing in Estonia anything to do with fascism, it united Estonians both left-wingers and right-wingers.
