ESTPs are direct and ESFPs are informative. ESTPs can say only a few words by being direct and to the point. ESFPs are talkative and can take forever to get to the point because they are informative. Linda Berens was able to define the intereactive styles of all 16 personalities.

Jet is hilarious! This panel has truly helped me to type my Dad. We were both watching this and we both concluded that he's an ESTP. Although he argues that as he got older, his Ti and Fe are starting to balance more now that he's in his 70's. He says he's a lot more emotional now and is much more aware of his Fe. Great panel! 👏👏👏

Especially lately it's been a thing in the community to be 'anti stereotype' when it comes to types. However, if one takes a look at a video like this where the estp's actually seem correctly typed, then one can also observe they do seem to talk/think/behave somewhat "stereotypical'. I do not think stereotypes are such a bad thing at all in a field like typology, because one could argue that in some way a type really ralated to "a stereotype", as it's not unreasonable to be open to the idea that as a result of a certain specific cognition one could gravitate towards a certain type of behaviour/display. Sure, not everyone of a type is as "extreme" as the stereotypes, but I do not think "being against the stereotypes" or "fighting the stereotypes" will really improve ones typing abilities, as one is basically taking away something that could actually be a clue about the type of a person.
@JoyceMeng22

"as one is basically taking away something that could actually be a clue about the type of a person." Agreed. Sometimes, stereotypes are helpful in generating clues to a person's true type. It's important to not rely or base your assessment off them. But don't completely dismiss them as every (good) stereotype has a grain of truth to it.

I think it reflects our disconnection to sensing how can you make sense of something that doesn't make sense. The question is, is the intuition connected to the the source because if it is it can come down to earth and live a life that is exemplary to a sensor. Which is what sensors say how can l foresee something in the future that hasn't been seen yet how can you do without conscious thought that doesn't make sense? what are you perceiving that's unconscious, make sense of that? you can't stereo type what isn't typical. l could be waffling just to let you know. I think we need to learn from experience that's what l think l agree just talking.

i first stereotype then confirm by functions. stereotype can be explained by functions. like ENTJ, they have Te and Se, of course they will be controlling. of course INFP will be emotional with Fi hence they will be bad at taking criticism.

IDK How I got here but the JetPlane48 was chaotic in the beginning and I absolutely love it. I'm not in the Extroverted realm but I love watching their videos because it's entertaining. They are humans, they have reactions, they laugh, smile, sidebar conversations, they drink, they blink it's amazing. The introverted videos are.. dry...and I'm an introvert. Can't even watch it because everyone talks like they are speaking from a textbook. They've memorized their types and are acting on it, it seems unnatural sometimes. They throw around the acronyms and as someone that doesn't know what the hell Fi and Se are it's boring.

As an Estp, like they mentioned in the video, we are good at hiding when we are getting frustrated and good at bringing the conversation back before it turns into a sgit show. Esfps are similar in that respect I think. Jetplane seems to try be honest about that fact that his brain is very chaotic. He can mentioned he might have a personality disorder or something. He doesnt seem logically consistent enough to me to be an estp and gets really judgey if thats a word.

I think ISFPs are similar to ESFPs. I feel the similarities are undeniable listening to the ESFPs in this video. I am confused about my personality type. I feel so connected to ESFPs but I think I am ISFP or ENFJ. I feel a lot for others and myself. I get upset when things don't go my way or when people are rude or use people for money, anything else materialistic or sex. Unhealthy ESTPs, ESTJs, ENTJs, ENFPs, ENTPs, ISTPs, INFJs, ESFJs, ESFPs, ISFJs, INTJs, INTPs, INFPs, ISTJs, ENFJs and ISFPs cheat on their significant other. All personalities who are unhealthy will use people or things for their own benefit. That makes them narcissists.

I feel like feelings are hard to track because they follow logic or at least how logic makes you feel but you can misunderstand the logic thereby feeling a certain way or the lack of feeling unsettles you so that you become anxious. i feel like the lack of feeling causes you to wonder why you can't connect with others l don't know perhaps that's why we resort to ideals like things should be this way I should feel free but l don't l don't know l forgot. Sarah Mbti in her video "infps and enfjs can't connect with others".

I learned so much from this discussion. This is my 1st time completing this video. Btw I don't think ENTJs micromanage. I have done it and it didn't go over too well so I stopped that quick! I learned no one likes that - I certainly don't and it's counterproductive. I don't think ENTJs micromanage for long bc we won't achieve the results we want if we do that. We look at the big picture and long term goals. I think micromanaging is an ESTJ thing.

as an ESFP I only recommend products that I tried and use and can guarantee their quality. I don't think selling products people don't want is the right way. I think earning people's trust and trying to turn them into returning customers instead of a one time sale per person.

I will say when it comes to "masculinity" and power; ESTP's & INTJ's can be incredibly similar. however the way we go about getting & yielding that power is different.
@PowerRedBullTypology

What is incrediblity similar about these types when it comes to 'masculinity and power', if they way they go around getting and yielding it is different? Then is (left to be) "Incredibly similar" about it?
@AndeAndrea
@AndeAndrea 3 жыл бұрын
@@PowerRedBullTypology in sum the desire for power is gone about differently based on ambition & ability to see long term /big scope. ESTP’s tend to think in the moment power moves with potential long term not very important as were INTJ start off much softer and end up a huge force to be reckoned with in the end. It takes growth for both types to really fulfill their visions tho.
@PowerRedBullTypology
@PowerRedBullTypology 3 жыл бұрын
@@AndeAndrea ok, but again that is mostly what is different about them. The only real consistant thing here seems that they do like a power, in some way? However, that seems almost too generic in order to call it 'incrediby similar'. Then one could argue that ESFJ's and INFP's are "incredibly similar" when it comes to living, becasue they both like oxygen.
@AndeAndrea
@AndeAndrea 3 жыл бұрын
@@PowerRedBullTypology the pursuit of power is exposed differently based on 'type'; imo. And from my observation. The relation to power based on type is also different. The effort to move towards power, create power & possess power seem to be MOST common in ESTP, ENTJ & INTJ's ; this is from my observations. The pursuit of power is just as present as oxygen to these types, so I believe it is an accurate statement. And yes ESFJ/INFP's have a lot in common when it comes to living, mostly because they are both betas.

I have watched a few of these type talks in hopes of seeing some similarities, but there always seems to be some big point that I just don’t see in me and therefore can’t relate. I am fairly sure of my functions, Te/Fi and Se/Ni, but I can’t seem to see the order. Originally I thought I was Ni/Te, then Te/Ni, then Fi/Se, now I’m exploring Se/Fi. I can’t seem to tell if I’m Tribe above Self or Gather vs Organize. I’ve tried to ask people around me, but I’m not sure how to interpret the feedback, often because I think they are comparing behaviour of my youth verses behaviour of middle adulthood. Even though I think my Type has remained the same, how I’m expressing myself has obviously changed over the last 40+ years.
