The staging function (it is a band fixed EQ for use in balance mode) is for improving stage / imaging after the tuning process. I have great results with this. Use band limited pink noise (in German: Terzbandrauschen) with it. I also would recomend to test the ESX VE 1300.11 SP DSP Amplifier.

I think they are cheaper than things for the quality and features by comparison that is, sure there is cheaper but bang for buck I think they are definitely less expensive than some of their counterparts, to me anyway, it's still all expensive lol I'm in Australia and we get taxed out the ass on electronics. 😂

The Adau are the two dsps, the two AKM are the DAC and the ADC. The other two I didnt get a good idea what they are. Definitely a nice little DSP. The QE812SP was one of the top 3 I was considering. The other two were the Helix Ultra S and the Goldhorn P2 DSP pro. In the end I went Goldhorn the Sabre 9038Q2m dacs are just another level compared to the AK dacs used in car audio products. As always good job Nerijus!

If someone knows better feel free to correct, but from reading up on that Staging EQ, it seems like kind of an alternative to Virtual Channel Processing on Helix but without the additional SFX Helix offers. So you can fine tune for example front left and front right as groups, and it has an option of linking the channels so that when you for example notice your image pull to the right at a specific frequency, you can make an adjustment to the right channel and the DSP automatically applies the opposite to the left channel, so that the imaging balances out
@soren58842 ай бұрын
You're correct, the staging function is a second Input EQ to balance L/R in 31 pre-defined bands, Q is variable - you can define two stages (e.g. front and rear stage). Very comfy to use with band limited Pink Noise in the end of the tuning process. I have great results with this.

I only just stumbled across these recently and was astonished at The prices of their amps, the engineers might have even been ex audiotec Fischer before this venture or something from memory.

Its all maxxsonics umbrella, crunch, hifonics, esx, not bad gear but certainly does trigger some americans because the sinks state "max" power instead of their precious little smd rated power, i used esx and hifonics gear with great success over the years and will recommend them to anyone on a budget

I like the idea of the mobil app to make changes. How many times where you just need to change one setting. No need to gain access to the dsp, plug the cable in & fire up the laptop.

Also like the fact the control is optional, I barely use my controller, I mean I'd probably want it anyway but good it's not essential if it makes it cheaper.

I did that with a silicone baffle.

Hi, after few hours of music playing, does it get warm/hot ? It would be far easier for me to have it behind the glove box while keeping the amp in the trunk.

Analogue is low and high level, via RCAs and the molex plug.

@RAW-CAt the official dealer of audiotechfischer switzerland told me the sometimes its even better using hilevel compared to rca and while he uses rca in his builds, in his own car he has decided for hilevel inputs. Told me something about being leveled and better balanced if im not mistaken. All i asked him if i needed the v8 mk2 helix and he said dont because rca is not necessary at all...what do you think? Its an interesting pov since everyone hypes over RCA.
@RAW-CAt27 күн бұрын
@@GuitarTherapy144 if you are planing to use the factory head unit, there is no choose, you have to ise high level inputs. Factory systems don't have low level RCAs. If you are using an aftermarket head unit with low level RCA outputs, that will be a much cleaner signal. You can watch the android head unit distortion measurements and compare high level vs low level signal quality. High level is only worst case scenario when you don't have any other option.

Why can’t these DSP companies have eq import function like Helix? I mean how hard can it be to write it in the software? They should know almost everybody that’s going to be using their product is using REW for tuning and sometimes you have to use a lot of those 31 PEQ bands on several speakers. No import feature is a deal breaker for me, even though it’s cheaper than Helix. If they really want to directly compete with Helix they’ve got to get onboard with eq import.
@RAW-CAt2 ай бұрын
I think slowly this will be integrated and in a few years every DSP will have this function😉
