I don't claim to be an expert but I believe that the arms provided to Britain were forgiven at the end of the war. The payments you mentioned would have been for loans. Again, I don't claim to be a scholar regarding lend lease so correct me if I'm wrong. Yes, we provided lend lease to the Soviets too. I think something like 400,000 trucks along with planes, tanks, food and oil. The Soviets never had an automobile industry so the trucks must have saved them otherwise they would have been horse drawn like the vast majority of the Wehrmacht. Something like 800,000 horses were used in Barbarossa by the Germans.

Many have companies supplying raw materials to the Russian government and military builders. The idea that they are just Russian business men with no link is false.
