Sextuple bogey. “SHEEEEEEEESH” that’s one for the low light reel. Absolutely gorgeous course.

The banter and joy reminds me of another Lizotte. Peter. Legend of discgolf in Canada. The kind of emotional genius that makes you feel special and carefree. He once ran a tournament with a princess prize for the player who complained the most about stinging nettles. Lol.

If there wasn't a drop zone for Hole 16 it would make more incentive to go for the tiny green, because as long as you crossed in bounds you could tap in a putt from where you were last in bounds to at least save par. Would make for better excitement for players and spectators. Having a drop zone forces everyone to play safe to prevent the bogey (can't really run it from that drop zone)

If it was this east in Florida to get a disc that goes in the water it might not be so bad to play courses with water features. But normally here if it goes in it stays for a little bit. Gators.

I get why these tournaments are employing more ob than were used to. At this level of play you need score separaters, otherwise you end up with 8 players all in 4th place and a 3 way tie for first. It manufactures some suspense when a great drive that goes 100m and a great drive that goes 105m results in a Birdy and a bogey all because of some tight ob near the pin.
@jockofthebush2 жыл бұрын
This is disc golf. You said it perfectly. Disc golf course designers can’t just plant bushes and trees everywhere to make bad shots punishable. OB is the perfect way to force players to stay in the fairway to score well

Gonna quickly share a hot take, I'm not sure how common this thinking is, but players need to fix their throwing routines of they're gonna be a top player. I don't care if you're the best player in the world by far, I'm not going to enjoy watching you play if you're having seizures before every shot because it's a 'routine'. Just take a breath and chill out, please. Love to hear other people's opinions though
@ryanharrington21892 жыл бұрын
Its his own game doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

We enjoy watching them because they're top players, they're not top players because they're entertaining to watch. Whatever he wants to spend his max. 30sec before his shot doing is entirely up to him and those seconds are in no way for public enjoyment. Personally I find someone like Locastro who maxes out the time before each and every shot much more frustrating to watch - but that's also because he frequently exceeds the 30s mark.
@Naiksuuu2 жыл бұрын
As my routine I like to do a handstand, a backflip, then slap my knees 8 times, do an ukemi, roll 3 times on the ground as I yell "autobots roll out!" before every shot, maybe that's why i'm not a top competitor

Honestly if I had to guess I’d say he has Tourette’s syndrome. With all the repeated motions and “tics”. The fact that nobody has thought that or the commentary didn’t even think about that and even said it’s “meme worthy” is crazy.
