This song touches all aspect of live it depicts poverty of struggles that ravages ghetto areas in Jamaica she uses prayers as a means to power through these problems and she also touches abuse which she uses the little girl who carried this through in the beginning of the video .On the other I dont know why people are commenting about etana childhood because I dont know that is is correct to imply that she.endured a difficult childhood from this video I don't know etana personally and I'm almost certain no one here making comments knows her either My belief is that she is passionate about this topic as it relates to child abuse and poverty so she is so using her voice as message to the mass .Moreover it touches on these issues in her homeland that being Jamaica 'So I'm lost when I read some people comments because they are talking about gays and all the other stuff and it may be that we are listening to something else and not free by etana who is a beautiful strong sister from Jamaica. Anyways people experience all different types of struggles and I know this song helps to comfort that pain to deal with whatever their struggles are.

I look at this video & see a singer who was to me a true artiste full of integrity & pure intent to educate & uplift her ppl both as a race & moral quality content of her entire genre. However it is now obvious to me (due to er) she sold out & is now a mouth peice for vindictive acusers who seek to justify their hate. The only logic she got right is support of, the alternative & sensible candidate allowing the politcal system to work, in the hopw it is not tainted or compromised. I do however still appreciate the themes of this song, for instance as much as how scolding is necessary at times. Parents should know when & how to do it based on the character of each child, the punishment should fit the crime & the child should not be terrified of the parent or ppl. This will put them in a shell & even begin to lie out of fear of punishment. I am not a parent, but I would educate my daughter that daddy loves you, no matter what & will seek to place himself in your shoe, age, situationonal & context, weighed against my own parental efforts to prepare you for such a scenario & punish you accordingly if needed. That does not mean "beating or scolding" the older u get the less that should be done, if raised right. That means if my 15 ish teen daughter LIES about her age, & even gets pregnant by a fellow teen, or young adult who should've known better. I would not box, beat & disown her, the fear of reprimand strong reprimand would not compel her to make up stories about being kidnapped, sliced, beaten, held against her will or raped. If she even contract an STD I would have her contact the other person, both get tested & counselling from their. What i would not do as a parent, is get upset blame the Other perso, take out hits against him. Even worst when it turns out he NEVER HaD an STD, I would not seek to infect him covertly thru Barber's, (lip), or " Powdered Tampered underwear" or Church commuion & spiked food & drinks when those fail. I would not send her to seduce him years later, to rikindle flames, after trying to frame him as a rapist & then not tell him about his child because he didn't fall madly back in love with her, after I as a concerned father told her to stop taking his calls & cut him off. I am glad Etana lives in a country where sex-offenders a firstly given a fair trial to establish if they indeed are one & residents are notified if they're Neighbours are. This is better than they system we have our here where ppl are not approached, (especially when they can debunk & rebutt lies & a matter of 15 minutes iif that ever happened) blacklisted, poisoined or killed by police, &/or hired street gangs contracted by masonic church clergy brotherhood, after being framed for countless other crimes, to justify the hit for good measure. I don't really like where america is headed as a country, but this aspoect of it i like. I would much rather as a father to know that justice is served & the correct person is being prosecuted for the crime, the thought that the person who did such acts to my "innocent little teen princess" is still walking free would scare me to sleepless nights. Even worse if i found out that my sweet princess is not so innocent & supposedly did these things to boys without much pursuit & is so verse as to volunteer unto them deviant sexual practice, that shocks even them, I'd want to know, why & how she learnt this. Could it a promiscuous relative, known to whole community, who fequents the music scene dates, appears in videos, passed arround by artiste & older men. Who knows, but You know what would hurt me the most is knowing my own absence as a father caused this. Knowing this i would not punish my child to the point of running to the wrong ppl & things for solace, & if I was a sex offender I would definetly prefer & want to serve my time in jail & return to live my life free from harrasment, police & gangstalking & even where a Tshirt saying Registered Sex Offender, just to allay ppls fears. I would open all the windows in my room when females or kids or present for the same reason. However I am not a Parent appearently nor a Sex Offender, but I still wanna be free, ignored & oblivious to some misguided haters & the evil guidinf them.
