Hi ETA Prime, I recently got that phone a few weeks ago and your video was the reason I bought it. I'm really enjoying using it. There's just one tiny problem. When I wanna play Warzone Mobile and the phone is connected to a TV, or a monitor via usb-c to HDMI adapter, I don't hear any audio while playing Warzone Mobile, no matter if in "console mode" or not. At first I thought maybe it's the adapter I use, but since Warzone Mobile is the only game that gives me this audio problem and all the other games work, I think I can rule this out. I already waited for game updates, but nothing changed. I also checked my settings and I also tried restarting and reinstalling. Unfortunately nothing worked. There's a Redmagic Studio app for PC and Audio works fine there, but the picture / video quality is worse. So if possible, I'd like to use it on my TV and maybe create some content with my capture card, a Elgato 4K X (I almost forgot I also tried this on another TV without a capture card between my phone and the TV and I had the same audio problems.)... Do you have an idea what I could try out? Or maybe someone from the community? I apologize for my English. I'm German and didn't have to use English for a long time, so I got a little rusty, especially with grammar. Greetings from Germany!

Love phones without hole punch. That's why I still rock twin Galaxy Note 9's. One for work and one for play. For the same price as a new phone, I can get two refurbished like new 6GB Ram 512GB Rom phones, with no hole punch, SD card slot, Super AMOLED 2960x1440 px resolution, S-Pen, a SD 845 chip that can still do games medium, do all multimedia, and Dex for running my Xreal glasses. The two batteries together give you 8000 mah. I wish they'd just make another Note 9 phone with triggers and a new chip.

I think the explosion of handhelds has kinda made gaming phones even more niche. I always thought id get a red phone but now not so sure
@chemergency9 ай бұрын
I'd definitely consider investing in a PC handheld before getting a high-end phone at this point if you intend to get one for gaming. Software support on Android is becoming increasingly lackluster when it comes to games and emulators.

I wanna see how it performs with Fortnite. The game is so poorly optimized on mobile that my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra on gaming mode with max optimization for system settings can barely get 60 FPS on lowest settings and STILL lag spikes when near opponents. No reviews of this phone showcase it and it's possible it may not be available yet ane an APk could be needed directly.😊

I'm thinking of gettin it 😭😭 is it really worth it? I'm between this and the AR8 Pro, i mostly want a gaming beast but also good for photos it doesn't have to be AMAZING at it but atleast as good as my Samsung S8+
@DarlingtonIyke8 ай бұрын
@@irionuchiha3823 the rectangular shape may be a bit difficult for handling games and the camera is decent except the front facing camera. The front facing camera is very terrible. It is a gaming beast and do not forget about diablo mode that overclocks the phone as well and if you are not gaming be rest assured of 2 days of use without charging.

I bought one and after 2 games of codm the phone is too hot too hold. Wanted to return it but I can't because of shipping rules. No stuck with a faulty unit and Nubia doesn't do anything about it. I don't recommend this phone!

I can't... If it gets major updates for say 3 years within a few months of it's release and security updates within a couple weeks of it's release sure, but if the manufacturer doesn't care about their phones, neither can I. That being said I know nothing about RedMagic's software support, so this is all shot in the dark, but that's how it seems.

No matter how good a phone is, if there are problems like not weatherproof, muddy speakers and limited software support, then there is no point in the existence of that phone, in my personal opinion.😅

I purchased the redmagic 8 to replace my oneplus 7t pro, hardware wise the redmagic was fantastic, battery life for days BUT software was terrible compared to oneplus, one was texting, if I'm texting someone and they sent me a picture it'll start a whole new chat session, if I tried to send pictures even with full bars or on wifi it wouldn't send don't get me started on not receiving phone calls, yes I did check the bands for my network it supports all but one band, I just changed the battery in my old 7t pro and reactivated it. I hope they fixed these issues by now, I might try again, I really hate hole punch and notches.

To be fair, it's not all about charging more for more storage. MicroSD isn't fast enough these days for a great gaming experience on phones. Lots of people buy the cheapest cards and expect miracles, blaming the phone when it's the card's fault. But modern storage chips are super fast in comparison. It's better to have the games on the internal storage of most flagship phones. The way I see it, 256GB or more is plenty for me. If I need more, I can slap an SSD onto my phone to offload anything unessential.

That power is pretty useless for the few android games out there. They should implement a fork of steamdeck os or windows 11 on that device, with an android emulator (android sub system) for the android stuff.

I kinda don't see the point in SD8 G3, at least not right now. The jump from SD8 G1 to G2+ (the one available in Fold5/S23U) was so huge, that you can run Genshin Max@60+, Honkai Max@60+, Punishing Gray Raven Max@60+ and pretty much anything else. Even Meta Quest 3 has SD8 XR G2+, and look what it can run in VR, at over 4k res (in total). Considering that all upcoming games like Zenless Zone, Wuthering Waves, new Ark Knight, etc. are all achieving stable over 60fps in their beta versions, I have no idea what you want to run on SD8 G3. If you are still having SD8 G1 device or below, upcoming generation is fine. SD8 G2 owners should just wait for G4 or G5.

Genshin Impact is no more a challenge for these new soc's apparently CarX street should be the new Genshin. Even the 8G3 cannot run this game at a constant 60fps. As time goes newer games are going to be a challenge for SoC's and not every one would like to play games at 60fps instead 90fps should be the deal breaker for most games so Yes I always see the point for a new SoC
