this thing looks great, BUT i have issue with the app. lets just say someday ETC goes out of business and the app gets taken down. welp now i have a fixture that is pretty useless.

True, but you can also address via RDM, either from a console, or other device like a DMX Cat

If we get to the point that ETC goes out of business there will be many more issues in lighting than not being able to address these lights. xD

I don't like the fact that there is no more display or knob. Working in hights makes my pokets more empty. And an other fact... you need a smart device to check and access data. Not everyone has one!
