Kaymo Review Highly anticipated Florida Battle, Tampa Juggernauts, Mount Rushmore ish. Everybody knows Craig Lamar is my boy, went to war together since 2012 same cards for hellas, and I have a high respect for Duce's pen, presence and watched his rise from the beginning. Farnum literally introduced me to him outside of one of my battles in Tampa w Grindtime "Kaymo this is Duce, he about to battle Conceited next month". 1st Rd. Being honest, w a slight bias for Craig, top of the first Duce had me scared for Craig, one of the strongest rounds I've ever heard in Florida Battle Rap. Ending it with a choke definitely seemed planned and hurt the rnd to me, I figured he was gonna try to tie it together in the end or reference Craig's history w choking but without it, that round could've stood alone as one of the best rnds in FL Battle Rap... with that said it allowed Craig to start strong and give us what we came to see from Craig, very entertaining but ending it suddenly almost if to avoid a choke didnt take the round from him, I considered it a tie. 2nd Rnd Duce was more chill, commanded the crowd and never let go, he actually owned the crowd since the sit down with Craig the day the trailer dropped. Duce doing Craig style was dope, even though he mocked it he did it well, well enough that Craig was received well going into another strong round. I see people giving Craig this round, if they gave him any, and for those that say 2-1 Duce, this is why. Duce's first was so good that this round seemed just okay, which it wasn't, it was really good. Craig and Duce matched energy here and I feel it was another draw. I see how people say Duce 2-0 or call it 1-1, I call both rnds a draw. 3rd round was a cocky one, pause, by Duce, the Duce we knew would show, put it all together, claimed his position and called out the rest of Florida's mount Rushmore. BTW WHAT DID DON MARINO DO TO FALL OFF OF THE LIST, I DONT WATCH MUCH NO MORE BUT I OBVIOUSLY MISSED SOMETHING. I think the choke gamble paid off for many but not me, it hurt a historic 1st round for the sake of paying off later to win the whole battle. Craig's 3rd was actually good despite what it looked like. Duce, had "go second and end the battle on a roar energy " but went first. The energy was gone by the time Craig started his 3rd. He was still rapping, some of his best schemes in the 3rd, but it was already over and he quit. I think if he gave us all he had, pause, he knew it was already over cause Duce ended the battle within the battle. There's was nothing Craig could've said to change the victory lap Duce took and I hate Craig conceded, not that it'll made a difference. Duce clearly won the 3rd, but missed an opportunity for a 1st rnd knockout. Was worth the wait
