wish you showed how to add the food to the app. Didnt need to watch you add peanut butter to a cup

Same. I am just trying to put together my protein shake and then my protein oatmeal

Almost everyone who buys this scale buys it because you can (supposedly) scan a food package barcode with the app and it will display the calories based on the weight of the food… and yet no one who demonstrates how to use this scale shows how they got it to count calories.

Haha that's exactly what I was looking for 😅

I'm a bit past ⅔ of the video. 2 things that made me turn it off; 1) the music track is really irritating, couldn't listen anymore, different music would be better; 2) you don't explain how the machine knows what kind of food you place on the scale. This needs to be explained. I'm going to research elsewhere to find answer to that.

A real question, was it able to detect that you put berries and a protein shake, or did you have to inform it of the ingredient when you choose a plate or cup
@4KReviewsandIdeas3 ай бұрын
It uses in app camera to scan the barcode of the packaged contents
@4KReviewsandIdeas3 ай бұрын
And you can also edit/add/remove any ingredients in the app too manually.

I thought there was a way to add it all together as you were building the meal/shake

How do you get it to count the calories

this product is almost perfect. the only thing missing for me is if the scale had a built in food scanner that syncs with the app. that would make things so much easier. I dont think it would be that hard t implement

How about handmade food with various sauces

Can you then save those ingredients as a 'recipe' for quick entry the next time?
@4KReviewsandIdeas8 ай бұрын
Yes they stay saved on the app

@@4KReviewsandIdeas but when I tried to save a meal it did didn't let me choose how many servings this meal would give. So I put in all the I ingredients and of course I'm making a big batch of food so it's over 2000 calories and the app assumes that's all for one meal there's not anywhere to put how many servings this meal is going to make so this scale is kind of pointless if you're going to make food in bulk
@juandiaz7202Ай бұрын
@@elisiachairez12I hope you figured it out by now. But if you didn’t let me explain. You have the large batch of food but need to measure the portions you’re eating. What you do is measure the amount of food in your meal prep container and it gives you the calories for that meal. You would just repeat it over and over as you portion your meals. You can write the calories or all the info on a label for each container.

Yeah there is a lot of input to find the product before you weigh it. Likely you are measuring protein powder milk or frozen berries from a bag which has all that info on the package. Since millenials don’t like to read and love to be told things on screens this scale does the same thing I do with a pen and paper. Also there is a good chance the item you are using isn’t in the data base and you probably aren’t eating prepackaged junk anyway if you’re watching your weight
