If you ever feel the need to shelf a project in fear that it's not good enough, just remember. There is no such thing as perfection when you're human. Keep trying, try new things, and show your creations to the world. You are absolutely brilliant and creative and amazing with what you do, so please never feel the need to shelf a project. Stepping away is good to see clearer and fix up things you don't like but please don't be afraid to show your work. We all will love it, no doubt!
@SupportMensMentalHealth3 жыл бұрын
Even if you dont like it someone will. You're never going to create perfection and you cant please all of the people all of the time and there is no such thing as failure, just a learning experience. Sometimes putting up a doll you dont feel is right might get you some hints, tricks and tips from your viewers. Remember...its not a failure, it's a trial run x

I love how each doll customizer has that one thing that's unique and special about their dolls. for dollightfull it's the body modification and clothes and bright colors. for you it's the ethereal feeling your dolls give, the details, their faces. your dolls almost reach out of the screen. I love your dolls faces, especially their eyes.

@purpleheart34314 жыл бұрын
You are by far my favorite doll customizer on KZbin. Your videos just evoke this sense of calm and I really need that. Your art style is so unique and beautiful with the saturated colors and accents. The eyes are incredible, and I adore the stories behind each character that you make. Your videos are like a real life studio ghibili film. ☺️🤍 I can really relate to your perfectionism too. I have gotten straight A’s since elementary school, and this year in one of my final years in high school I finally lost the battle and got a few B and B+ as my final grades. It was really hard, I cried over it and thought I just didn’t try hard enough. And it’s true, I didn’t really study or work super hard on it. But it was odd having that weight of perfection lifted off my shoulders. It wasn’t really relieving, more a “what do I do now? What should I strive for?” Type mindset. I feel lost honestly. 😅 Anyway, I can understand where you’re coming from in that regard. Sometimes I look back at my work and wonder why I didn’t like it too! With my art it’s a hobby, a passion, and in a way my first love. So it’s hard when I don’t do well, I feel like I’ve let “art” down, whatever it is. Like I don’t get to represent this hobby like I do. That was a giant tangent all to say that I love you and your videos, thank you for showing us your work! 💜💜💜

It's nice to hear you talk about the little struggles and provide us with some words of wisdom. Good job on finishing this doll!

seeing you recreate one of your first dolls would be such an inspiration to me and many other people who want to repaint. I always feel hesitant to start out a new thing especially doll repaints because only ever see such talented people like you doing it and it can be a bit daunting, but seeing a doll you did in your early years compared to one you can make now would show us how much we can improve. However it would only be enjoyable to watch if you wanted to do it.

I remember a couple videos back you said something about not getting a rerooting tool because of their availability in Australia. Idk if you have found a place to purchase them yet but I have an alternative. The doll artist Dollightful didn't have a proper rerooting tool when she first started so instead she used and needle with its eye cut in half combined with some sort of drill bit handle. I recommend looking at her old videos to see if its something you want to make.
