Eteri Tutberidze interview/ Extreme level of figure skating coaching
Zagitova: "As soon as Eteri takes the first step on the ice, my heart stops at once - I have, I have been training with her for many years, and I still have such things. Sometimes she comes in, and I freeze: what should I do? What should I do? "
"Fair, demanding, determination, patience - and, beautiful, a man able to achieve success," says Trusova and others
Eteri "I try, probably, to educate correctly, that's what I bring up. I do not demand anything, in fact. I make sure that the athlete himself, so that he does not like the failure to complete his homework. So that he feels bad about it,"
Alna "Since I did not like to work yet, it did not work for me, it did not work out. I came, gave flowers, and Eteri apparently saw something like this in me, which is probably seen by the coach. She said - come on, try again,"
Like all in the 90's, it survived - the touring tour in the United States turned into a group of Russian figure skaters who were accommodated in a hostel for the homeless and fed in churches. Eteri Tutberidze survived the terrorist attack - an explosion in Oklahoma in 1995, 168 dead, under seven hundred wounded, and she is among them. But Tutberidze continued to go to the goal - stubborn since childhood. The fifth child in a simple Moscow family, at five she gathered and went to training alone across the city. Even then I could not miss.
"If I have any skill, and I think I have it, I'm probably in the answer to God for this skill, and I should properly dispose of them and try to do a little more than I even think," - sure Eteri Tutberidze.
Returning to Moscow from the Olympic Games on her birthday, she went to the ice rink, because there she was waiting for the students, whom she makes champions not strict, as it seems to many, but otherwise.
"With love. With love to this cause, with love to these athletes, to these children with love, "she says.
But the most important thing is that Eteri Tutberidze never speaks in public training. It's her secret.
