All 3 Ancients seem have there own way of reminding Pious of their superiority over him. Chattur'gha: States that he is the source of Pious' power. Xel'lotath: States there is much Pious doesn't know and never will Ulyaoth: Is the most condescending, talking about there being things Pious doesn't understand and saying he's an insignificant speck in the vast universe.

Gotta love the way the Gods Interact with Pious, Chaturgha treats Pious like how a Battlemaster Sets his plan but leaves the Smaller or rather Political fallout to Pious Ulyaoth Treats Pious like a Scholar that's always 1 step ahead in Knowledge to his student Xelotath Treats pious as the arrogant-know it all Parent to the Naive Child with never ending Questions and bottomless hole of unfound knowledge

Brilliant idea to compare all three of the same scenes between the 3 ancients in one video. The dialogue in eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is nothing short of sheer genius, but my favourite ancient has to be Xel'lotath. The things she says are just nuggets of pure gold. For example, when she refers about Mantorok to Pious, "How can you, a mere mortal, comprehend what that entity represents, or what power it can wield? We know not, and we know more than thou."

I mean having one Xel'otath constantly switching between "Hi Pius, nice to see you mah boi" and "I DONT TRUST YOU FILTHY TRAITOR YOU SUCK", but when there's two, it must be one hell of a migraine. It's probably why Xel'otath creates most of her minions without heads to spare them the trouble of buying paracetamol.

You know, being the geek that I am, I've come up with a theory for the yellow Ancient. I believe the may really be all 4 Ancients in a sense. Like, its own form is so powerful the universe itself is unable to comprehend it. So it requires the 3 Ancients to give their own being to sustain it. Like, Chattur'ga allows it gain a physical form, Xel'lotath allows it to comprehend its own existance, and Ulyaoth allows it to use its Magick. And Mantarok would be the "rubber band" holding it together.

Very interesting dialouge. Even though Chattur'gha supposed to be the least intelligent, his speech is still very formal. He seems more intelligent than people who comment give him credit for, since when Pious said there was a flaw in the plan he already knew what Pious was thinking off. Still, Ulyaoth and Xel'lotoath are more formal. Ulyaoth especially.

Ulyaoth probably knows but doesn't care because of how arrogant he is. Likely to the point of thinking that the protagonists can't really do anything to make a difference, so he thinks, "why bother being concerned by something so meaningless?" Xel'otath is either too consumed by paranoia to truly notice, or she DOES notice but said paranoia prevents her from trusting Pious with that knowledge.
