Lol are you talking about bai qian, then you have to know the stages of her life. From ep 1- she is still a student therefore she is not strong yet so she relies on her master and she is the only girl at her home so she was spoiled and from episode 10 she becomes a mortal human meaning she nolonger has any powers that is why the prince ye Hua is there to protect her in the 3rd arc from episode 30 you will see her become stronger again.

I was annoyed not so much by her lack of power (because there isn't much she can do about it and it is a "growth" process). It is her insensitivity towards others yet wallowing about her own emotional wounds, her decisions and later on, her arrogance.
