@@deedee-lk7ji they have added a lot of extras but the core of the story about Ye Hua and Bai Qian is the same. They also had to take out parts that wouldn't pass the censors. In episode 44, Bai Qian asks if he wants to spend the night with her. Then she is like, whoops did I really say that out loud. The book is from Bai Qian's POV and a lot is about what she is thinking.

Yu Hua and Mo Yuan look so different because of the make-up, I know they are both Mark Chao. However in this episode (35) I can tell they are the same person when Ye Hua stares at Bai Qian while laying on his side after asking did she know Si Yin. Those are the same crazy eyes that Mo Yuan looked at Bai Qian with when he found out she was engaged to his twin brother (Ye Hua). Mo Yuan stared at her (intensely) for like 4 seconds - this was scary (episode 49).
