Eternal MMA is a pro-am mixed martial arts company based in Queensland Australia. Eternal MMA was formed in 2012 and we had our first event at The Southport Sharks Venue in September 2012. Eternal events are regulated by MMAA and fights inside our 8 metre cage follow the MMAA rulesets of A,B and C class fights.
Eternal aim to provide a pro-am fight show with high production values and competitive and exciting match ups that give fighters an event that they can make their amateur debut on and progress through to be a pro fighter headlining the fight card.
Based primarily on the Gold Coast Eternal are now beginning to promote shows in more locations in Australia with a Perth WA show planned for July 2015.

I'm new to watching MMA and so not up to speed on the judging criteria, but based on the decision in this match I've concluded that a fighter is able to score points by using their face to deflect blows from their opponent. In any case, the fans certainly got their money's worth from the level of heart and grit displayed by these two fighters.

A draw...when this was the first fight that I've ever seen where I genuinely felt sorry for the poor girl who was getting pounded the last two rounds. I will say this. She didn't quit despite an onslaught of kicks and punches. That's gotta be worth something.

i think everyone forgot that Hackett got a point taken away in the first round making it a 10-8 round for Zeman. Hackett likely scored 10-9 for both round 2 and 3 making it 28-28.

@@TonyJBroni Hackett lost the first round 10 -8 i understand that. But according to the first judge she won the 2nd and 3rd rounds 10-8 10-8 for a 28 -26 win. So how did the second and third judge's not have 10-8 for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. The last 2 judges were the only thing unprofessional about this fight. Even so the only fair way a fight should end up a draw is if all 3 judges call it a draw or 1 judges picks fighter A and 1 picks fighter B and the 3rd calls it a draw. In my mind if 1 judge picks fighter A and 2 call it a draw fighter A should be the winner. Because she had at least 1 judge declare her as the winner while fighter B had no judge declare her the winner.

Good lowkick, telegraphed frontkick and a decent midkick. That's good, but hardly legendary. Also opponent has no striking defense nor is she adept with counters, leaving her basically target practice. I'm not saying she isnt good or it doesnt look crisp, but going gung ho Joe Rogan fanboi is a bit premature. Nice clinch work btw

The fence grab means she lost the first round 10-8 fools meaning she was down 2 rounds going into the 2nd. If she didn't 10-8 her in the 2nd or third it's a DRAW. 1 10-8 round equals 2 10-9 rounds people.

It sucks but it makes sense. Zeman got round 1, Hackett round 2. But the point deduction hurt Hackett. Her corner should have told her she needed to finish to win. Without the point taken its clearly a win by Hackett

You are "one tough cookie". The both of you fought with a lot of spirit and I must say you're both tough, but you took the lead in this fight from the very start. I think you could use your elbows a little more the next time you're up against the cage, and maybe focus on your kicks in the late 2nd round and 3rd round for certain. Be sure to practice your head kicking skills for the finish, by the way Holly Holms at Jackson's gym would be an excellent mentor for you and she looks to be thinking of retirement. If she's willing to take you as your female mentor, she trains at Jackson's gym. I don't have any idea what her plans are for the future, but she could be an excellent asset to your fighting career.

Rookie mistake. Mel won the first, plus the penalty point resulting a 10-8rd. Mel was lit up 2-3rd. Hammer's debut went to a draw because she grabbed the fence will poke her in the back of her head for rest of a promising career.
