Eternal performing "Save Our Love," from the 1993 album "Always & Forever."
More from Eternal:
The song "Save Our Love" by Eternal is about trying to fix a relationship that's in trouble. The words talk about remembering the happy times from the past and feeling sad about how things are now. The singer really wants to reconnect with their partner and keep their love from falling apart. They know things are tough, but they're hopeful and want to work through it together. The chorus asks their partner to stay and work on their relationship, even when things are hard.

Eternal is a British R&B band formed in 1992. The original members included sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, along with Kéllé Bryan and Louise Nurding, later known as Louise Redknapp. They were brought together by a record label and gained worldwide fame, selling approximately 10 million records. Nurding left to focus on her solo career, and Bryan's departure in 1998 was unexplained. Following these changes, only the Bennett sisters remained, leading to the group's dissolution in 2000. They briefly reunited in 2013 with Bryan returning, but disbanded again in 2014. Some people likened them to the British version of the American girl group En Vogue.

Oh nostalgia! ❤ What a beautiful thing you are! I was a young hormonal 13 year old (on the verge of turning 14) and was madly in love with a lad who lived a couple of streets away. This song always reminded me of him every time I heard it, then. I still think of him now when I hear it 30 years later! Thankfully, I don't feel the same about him now! School memories a bliss ❤

You are spot-on. Nearly all modern music is autotuned or altered in some way (as are the images). This single is 'real'. Today's music is fake basically, with the exception of a very minute number of artists.

What are they talking about? They didn't liked this song. They should be proud of every song they have been giving. It was a great top 10 hit. All those so called popstars are getting an attitude. Anyone out there would have sung this song and be rich of it. Glad they all work by Mc Donalds now.

I was about 8 when this came out. I have this ridiculously vivid memory of my mother coming home from work excited about the fact she'd just bought their debut album on cassette. Love this song - though you can totally understand why Louise left, apart from the odd pout and a terribly weak verse on "Crazy," she contributed naff all to the band.
@clairealabdalla5507
@clairealabdalla5507 5 жыл бұрын
No Louise left because this was a dysfunctional band in that Esther got the lead singing roles and it was like all the other girls were just there to dance around her. Not cool. When Louise went solo we really saw that she can sing. This is why so many bands break up, many with bad blood. Think of Claire in steps, Jo in s club 7, nadine in girls aloud etc. The spice girls and other bands like little mix and m.o ensure they all get equal chances to sing. That wasn't the case with eternal. They were the UK equivalent to Beyonce and destiny's child

Crazy was going to be the 2nd single, it was sent to radio in December so was Save Our Love and it was picked up quicker! damn shame Crazy was a great song and the natural 2nd single! they had great style, save our love and so good where record company singles though safe radio songs... just a step from heaven/stay/crazy and oh baby i made this album! the album was massive at the time first girl band to sell a million they where amazing

No she didn't. They went on to bigger success without her! She was only on the singles from the first album, but they had some huge singles that followed when she left. The thing that cost them their success was the Bennet sisters, who decided to get rid of Kelly by fax. They thought they could go it alone as a duo, and unfortunately for them, the public didn't think so and they tanked.
