It’s safe to say, despite the controversy leading up to the album’s release, this may be one of her best works and I’m not even joking. The way she’s pouring out her emotions on this album is rather remarkable to say the least.

@@norijean3279 it’s really weird and misogynistic how people are completely absolving Ethan from any responsibility. You can’t steal a man. They are not objects. They stray because they want to stray. I didn’t get a sense she was accusing him of cheating at all. The whole first half of the album is about two people falling out of love, feeling mad and guilty at each other for not trying hard enough and eventually moving on, wishing someone the best with their new partner and wondering what could have been, and if you’re even making the right decision. 90% of high profile divorces include NDAs. There are even some celebrities who use NDAs with people they are just dating. This isn’t a sketchy thing to do at all. I don’t gain moral high ground by shaming someone I don’t know. None of us know any of these people. There’s no way we’ll ever know the “truth” of anything. My personal best practice is that if there are two sides of a story, then the truth is usually in the middle. Regardless, I would expect an artist of her caliber to put their pain and experiences into music and I wasn’t disappointed.

I love this Album it's the best Ariana Grande has made thus far in her career. Just when I thought nothing could top Sweetner she made this. The album feels ethereal & outer space like & I love it so much as an aspiring singer I look up to Ariana Grande so much because of her music & because I grew up watching her on Nickelodeon as well as how much her music has resonated w/ me & got me through a very tough time in my life. The Evolution of Ariana Grande has truly been amazing thus far & I can't wait to see what she does next.

Really loved how you analyzed everything! I admit, it took my second/third listen for things to click for me, which is not usual for me with Ari, but once I got it... I got it. This album is honestly such a breath of fresh air, and it def sounds like from a healed place as you said. Seeing these homewrecker allegations been rough, but I'm sticking beside her!!
