I’m a D2 veteran since 2018. I agree with MOST of the recommendations in this video. It’s a pretty good guide! However, I have two critiques - Legend of Acrius and Bad Juju are “fine” but they do not need to be among the first ten Exotics for a new player to prioritize. I would suggest Tractor Cannon and No Time To Explain or Graviton Lance, instead, but there’s a dozen or so Exotics that I’d put ahead of Acrius or Juju (Trinity Ghoul, Traveler’s Chosen, Riskrunner, Quicksilver, Centrifuse).

The Acrius catalyst of trench barrel is a 50% dmg boost, I'm pretty sure.

bastion for melee builds is a new hot choice since it gives you a range option, if you are picking exotics always go for multipliers (if you are new) like the gun works with exotic armour piece. also if your build is like a close melee build you can farm the side bosses before the big boss solo in raids which helps build your collection.

Got everything but Legend of Acrius. That, of course you need spoils to purchase. As a person who doesn’t usually do raids, I’m not able to get some of those guns. But all good, got all the rest of these in the video 🙂

Theres a way to get about 70 spoils a week for free, takes a while but you can still get everything if you do it every week

I have a question, how would you get legend of acrius as a solo player? It requires spoils of conquest to be bought if you didn’t get it from its raid and that isn’t necessarily able to be done solo

You need to do a Raid. You can use the Fireteam finder...it's fun

Load into the Vow of the Disciple raid, kill the projection of Savathun and continue on route until you have the Pervading Darkness perk, kill all yellow bar enemies to take it off and shoot all three diamonds. Once you do that it will open the first secret chest of the raid.

Dragon's breathe is pretty much the first exotic heavy I would recommend new players to buy. For one it deals a LOT of damage overtime, secondly unlike other rocket launchers, it does not instantly kill you when you fire into something up close. Just gotta back off before it the main warhead explodes lol.

@@michaelmaldonado2408 Honestly depends on what you want. Sunshot is pretty much the OG ad clear gun while Polaris Lance was pretty much "The Scout rifle" for a lot of content. Dragon's breathe is just a good heavy because of the DOT which means you can shoot and hide or switch to other weapons to do more damage in the same window. All these are pretty good first picks. If you can live with other legendaries, but absolutely need boss killing power for solo content, I would say Dragon's breathe first. It also auto-reloads without requiring a catalyst so it is quite nice. Other heavy solar weapons I can't recommend them early. Whisper and Sleeper really needs the catalyst. Parasite and Lament require respective DLCs completion. Xenophage is a dungeon quest drop while Gally is a PAID dungeon exotic. Eyes of tomorrow raid exotic. That leaves with Heir apparent which is a machinegun.... So yeah if Boss damage is your need, get Dragon''s Breathe.

Graviton is amazing especially with the catalyst. Getting the catalyst is another thing though. You'll either get it to drop quickly or in my case.. Months!

Spoils of Conquest are dropped in all raids, so you don't need to worry about that one raid being gone AFAIK
