Eternals vs. the Deviants Fight Scene [Insane Thena Attacks Eternals] [No BGM] | Eternals

In 575 B.C., a group of several Deviants led by Enkidu attack the city, preying on the Babylonians who were present outside the walls of the Ishtar Gate. Although Babylonians were powerless against the Deviants, they were saved by the five Eternals: Ikaris, Gilgamesh, Thena, Kingo, and Makkari.
Later in 1521, the Spanish invasion of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan runs together with an attack from the last of the Deviants. While fighting them off, Thena's Mahd Wy'ry causes her to momentarily turn on her allies, only to be stopped by Gilgamesh. The Prime Eternal, Ajak, offers to cure Thena's affliction at the cost of her memories, but Gilgamesh volunteers to look over her.

It was good to see the Gates of Ishtar, which only exist as a life-size copy in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany copied again for this film. The loss of the original Gates of Ishtar in modern day Iraq as a result of the destruction of the Second Gulf War in Iraq was a crime against world cultural heritage as they served no military function whatsoever and WMDs were also a lie to justify the war.
